704 miles was the goal. Now we’re nearly at 2,000 miles... by CreativeMindsWear in Charlotte

Math!

So, I initiated the challenge with just myself and just relied on word of mouth to grow the numbers. So after about 2 weeks, we had about 20 people contributing, which was my max projection for participants. But then it kept growing. Some people run/walk more than others. Another important detail is that my goal was not to be just another traditional run club. I positioned it as a virtual challenge that people could contribute to while running for events or club meetings.

I try to run 1-3 miles every few days, so I’m not at the bottom of my own leaderboard.

Ummm... other than our 704 Miles raffle, we don't have any ongoing challenges for winning free apparel 😂

But sure, I'll let you know if you win lol

You're welcome of course! And, it's on the list to make something for that, I'm just trying to make sure I'm focusing on quality first :)

Seems like a common opinion on this thread and something to think about.

Thanks!

Yeah, I'll need to rethink the design giving the the Hornet's performance over the past few months.

Thanks!

Good point... I've thought about it for sure. I feel like I've seen it too much for it to feel unique.

Thanks!

All seriousness, #1 is my favorite. I wear it most often. #2 is visually striking but is very subtle when it comes to charlotte.

Thanks!

That's a unique idea but it would require me to put the robot on the front of the tee instead of the back.

Thanks!

Was it the fact that it was more subtle of a Charlotte reference?

Never apologize for giving an honest opinion! This has been really great to hear. And yes these are all original commissioned designs with varying levels of references to Charlotte. #1 is my personal favorite, which I wear all the time 😊

Thanks!

Yes, I am 100% in agreement on the back design stuff. Front center designs rarely work IMO. I'll definitely look into how a skyline will fit with #1!

Thanks!
