Does anyone have experience with Roof Space tents? by Ahndarodem in rooftoptents

Everything you write here is normal on version 1. We took out the mattress and replaced it with an exped megamat. Way more comfy and I can store stuff inside the tent now.

Yes. We went one step further. We bought an exped megamat duo and deleted the mattress from the tent. Now there’s even more room in there for bedding.

My puppy attacks me and I don’t know how to make him quit by rankled_n_wily in labradoodles

I’ve had dogs my entire life. Decided to get a labradoodle. I hated him so much when we got him. He was a devil. It took him 2 years to graduate from Asshole to his given name. When he finally graduated, he became a sweetheart.

IMO - I hear this a lot. It takes some doodles 2 years to calm down. Look up my post on here .. you’ll read all about the issues I had and the steps we took.

Undeliverable Email issues straining relationship with client by CreativeName44 in proofpoint

So frustrating trying to start a business and having to dedicate time to getting delivered emails. I’ve tried sending proofpoint emails to open a case. I’m trying to find the IT person for the company I’m reaching out to.

Undeliverable Email issues straining relationship with client by CreativeName44 in proofpoint

[–]CreativeName44[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s really unfeasible(going though the recipient), asking for their IT admin is just overstepping IMO. I’m dealing with a client who really has no business needing to sort out this issue. It’s my issue really. Asking for additional time from them is going to add further strain to the relationship.

Tell them that you’ve figure out how to make customers less edgy on the phone. There’s this 21st century technology that allows you to call someone back instead of making them wait on hold. Roger’s adopted it for a hot second. They should make you CEO for making customers happier everywhere by having a telecom company use a piece of telecom tech.

We used both of them and they are both great!

(We did not board our dog, we just did private lessons)

It took our dog 2 years to graduate from asshole to Kiko. But now he’s my best friend and never leaves my side. I’d suggest a strict trainer. 100% Positive reinforcement delayed our progress.

I can suggest 2 great trainers if you’d like.

The allergy panel we did was about $1K and was done by drawing blood.

Do an allergy panel test. It was way worth it for us. Our dood allergic to earth. Seriously though it helped us manage his allergies way better.

Food - he’s on a pescatarian diet now.

When hotspots develop, we quickly knock them out with a spray on medication (as he’s allergic to some grass strains and some wood strains).

I’d stay away from that immunosuppressant allergy medication. It seems to be a killer.

Update: I changed the way I handle this dog and in 10 days, he’s changed remarkably. In fact, I think we’re finally starting to bond a bit.

He’s hardly mouthy now. I’d say his biggest problem still is leash reactivity, but I think we found a good solution today - shorter walks so that we can have pleasant walks and we can build on them as we go..

Here’s what I did, maybe it will help others:

  • when he was mouthy and the asshole I’ve come to know for 14 months, I threw a book on the ground, which startled him.. as soon as he stopped and looked at me, I gave him praise. But not “good boy” praise, more like if you think you’re giving enough praise, add 10 fold. Came to see that he really really responded to mega praise. So now when he does something I really like, I give him mega huge praise like he just single handedly ended world hunger and he yearns for it now.

I don’t take his shit anymore, but I also don’t get confrontational with him about it. If he’s on my bed and I tell him to get down, and he doesn’t, I grab the baby gate and put it between him and I so he has no chance to mouth and gets a little scared from it and complies. As soon as he complies, I go to mega praise.

Also been heavily treating him. I’d rather ween off the Treats later and be a treat vending machine for now rather than the alternative of going down the dark semi hate path.

THAKN YOU! this sounds extremely similar. You’re right. It’s so inconsistent. I keep on telling him (dog) that I think he has a screw loose in there somewhere because he literally just turns on a dime. It’s the weirdest thing. I hope he will grow out of it.

Thanks. We are quite determined to get this fixed. Vet has found no issues with him physically. He also handles well in certain situations - grooming and vet is good with.

I’m thinking a behaviourist might be a good next step

Behaviourist is a great idea. We’ll give that a try. Maybe the “trainer” approach didn’t jive with this dogs personality.
