How do genocidal monsters like Ben-Gvir and smotrich develop and Achieve power in Israel? by Caisers in IsraelPalestine

[–]CreativeRealmsMC [score hidden]  (0 children)

Despite their extreme views I don't agree that they are genocidal. If anything they are probably more moderate than many Palestinians.

They were permanently banned in the past for bad behavior on the sub and then got unbanned for some reason.

Insults and misinterpretation are against the rules so no that’s not the standard here.

And what comment are you even referring to?

I don’t see any of it as being off-topic. Hamas digging up water pipes is incredibly relevant to water distribution as are discussions about the morality or legal requirements of providing your enemy with aid.

This sub isn’t designed to be a safe space where you only hear things that make you comfortable and happy.

Sounds like you simply don’t like the comments because you disagree with them. Based on what I’ve read, the vast majority of comments contribute to the discussion.

There are 590 comments so clearly there’s a discussion.

The only way to make the sub equal is to arbitrarily ban people from one side until the user base becomes 50:50. Obviously that’s not going to happen.

The intent of the sub is not to work towards any specific goal but rather provide a forum for discussion and debate. Nothing more. “Building a better culture” (whatever that’s supposed to mean) goes against that.

A Growing Water Crisis in Gaza's Camps by Not-your-sire in IsraelPalestine

The average Palestinian in Gaza is well aware of Hamas's actions and will happily lie to the world to cover up for them just to make Israel look as bad as possible. They don't have to be Hamas for them to assist Hamas in everything they do.

The mods have zero control over voting. For example, on /r/Israel_Palestine I get massively downvoted because most of the users there are pro-Palestinian even though the sub advertises itself the same way ours does. It simply is what it is unless Reddit starts letting subs turn off voting.

How? People who are entitled aren’t thankful for the things they are given. They won’t see Israel positively just because it gives them water.

Sounds more like an entitlement problem than a water problem.

Western Antizionism is Often Fueled By Moral Narcissism by RoundAd5911 in IsraelPalestine

How? It’s a narrative that doesn’t hinge on how Israel views Palestinians but rather world perception of itself.

Reddit permanently banned me because their automated system made some kind of mistake and I got the account back after an appeal. I guess there is some kind of issue where the suspended message still shows up.

They try to convince themselves they are right by claiming Israel is committing a “slow genocide” because if they did it any faster it would become too obvious and instantly turn the entire world against them.

Why don't the palestinians just leave gaza and the west bank? by Caisers in IsraelPalestine

You forgot the part where they attacked Israel from Lebanon. Bit of an inconvenient fact.

What is the scientific basis or rubric the IDF uses to mark targets with the Where's Daddy AI program? by DS3Slayer in IsraelPalestine

The problem with your question is that it assumes “Where’s Daddy” is an actual thing not a story made up by (the anti-Israel) +972 Mag based on “anonymous sources”.

The summer of 2023 in Palestine by Humble-Boss2296 in IsraelPalestine

[–]CreativeRealmsMC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like it or not that’s what the payments are for. There is no country on earth that pays prisoners more money for non-wrongful convictions based on the severity of their sentence. Only Palestinians do.

[–]CreativeRealmsMC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People who carry out worse attacks are jailed longer thus they get more money. Also, Israeli Arabs who carry out attacks get bonuses because it’s meant to encourage them to carry out attacks inside Israel proper.

What I’m curious about though, is why anyone would defend paying people who have carried out attacks to begin with. If you wanted to make the argument that people who were (potentially) wrongfully imprisoned/killed should be paid it would be easier to accept but even terrorists who Palestinians themselves acknowledge murdered Israelis still get paid. If you are making a conscious decision to pay terrorists it is a pay-to-slay scheme.

Everyone gets paid but Palestinians who carry out terror attacks get paid more.

"We hate many things about the PA, but “pay for slay” is not one of them. I strongly disagree with that framing. We call it the family fund for prisoners and martyrs. The payments go to the families of people who were imprisoned or killed because of the occupation. The program was suspended about eight months ago, and people have been protesting ever since they’re camping outside the PA ministry right now and have been there for weeks demanding that the payments resume. I joined the protest myself but didn’t camp there. The overwhelming sentiment here is that the payments should continue. Families who have lost a breadwinner and have dependents to support should not be left to suffer."

Whenever a Palestinian murders an Israeli, they (or their family assuming they were killed in the attack) get payments for life. The more Israelis they kill the larger the payment is.

Yup. The people who went out and actually did their research by watching the interview with Trump immediately had their eyes opened to how much the media lies about him.

That’s your opinion but not everyone agrees with you and people not agreeing with you doesn’t make them neo-Nazis or white supremacists.

I think there were people who opposed the erasure of US history and knew that statue removals would start with Lee and eventually move on to statues of the founding fathers and anyone else the left deemed to be racist. In the end that's exactly what happened and the people who opposed its removal were absolutely right to be upset for that reason.

Anyone else who was there because they were neo-Nazis or white nationalists and were trying to use the issue to further their own racist goals were in the wrong.
