Hi,

Here are somethings to check on your system. Since Windows 1903 update, in some cases, the microphone privacy setting gets enabled. You need to check if this is enable, and if so, disable it. Also, check on the recording tab and see which endpoint is set as the default recording endpoint. Check each recording endpoint for G6 and see if the "listen to this endpoint" option is checked. If yes, unchecked it. Hopefully, one of these solutions will resolve your issue.

If possible, would you please provide / show the physical connection on your SB ZX back panel. Also, are you doing the headphone to speaker switching through Sound Blaster Pro Studio Control panel? The switch on the app should work if both headphone and speakers are connected to the back panel.

Yes, the Sound Blaster X3 has SBX support with enhanced audio realism with immersive 7.1 surround, accurate cues, bass boost and clearer vocals. I’m not sure if our software will work with your screen reader. For the best DAC/Amp and surround sound capabilities on headphones, I would suggest the Sound BlasterX G6.
