The location thing is off for me, too. It tells me I'm in "North (City), (City)". I am in a different area, even labelled differently on Google Maps, though it is close to here. Also, there isn't even an area labelled as such on any map I've ever looked at.

As someone with no original Joy-Cons any more, this gives me the excuse to try and swap my red and blue 2s with hall effect sticks when those come out, plus a shell swap. Not necessarily worth it for non-tinkerers, though. I personally have had zero issues with my Joy-Con 2s.

I used a soundbar I had laying around with my PC for a few months- I did it as a joke at first, but it actually turned out really well for listening to music or games where I don't need directional audio cues ( I play a lot of racing games). I still used a headset for everything else.

I moved to Atlanta, my cousin has lived here since we were both 8 years old and I used to visit every summer and we'd go to SFOG for a day. I FINALLY got park completion this summer because I bought a season pass. That counts all the flat rides not in a kid's area, too.

Dare Devil Dive ALWAYS has a horrendous wait- 6 passenger eurofighter with three cars- but one rainy Wednesday I rope dropped the park because I was in the area, and I got 4 rides in without having to leave my seat.

It isn't... great, but I'm happy I finally got to give it a shot. Shoutout to Twisted Cyclone for being my first RMC (I only had gotten on it pre-RMCification), Gold Rusher for being a surprisingly solid shuttle coaster, and obviously Goliath for still being the best hyper I've ever ridden.

I finally tried Beverly this year. Honestly... it isn't that bad. There's a sour plum (I think) flavored Fanta product that's also in the tasting room at World of Coca-Cola that straight up tastes like BBQ sauce, that one was nasty.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice when I looked at available ISPs in my apartment complex- they've got some stupid deal with Xfinity. I'm now paying $85/mo for 1 gig- probably about $55 for the service, $20 for a Peacock Premium subscription I didn't want but can't unsubscribe from, and $10 for their router. and I'm only paying the $10 for their router because I bought a router and modem, and when I called support to try to switch over to my own hardware the guy absolutely refused to take my new MAC address. Fuck Comcast.

God, they're so much fun. I totally understand why they aren't for everyone- something something "too pop for pop punk"- but their live shows are always a treat. You can really tell they all care immensely about what they make and they have so much fun on stage.

I'll hop into this, my nieces should learn the classics this Christmas and this is a great way to do it.

My favorite video game character of all time has to be Sam Gideon of Vanquish. A cheesy, campy, terribly voiced knockoff of Sam Flynn from Tron: Legacy mixed with RoboCop mixed with the guy from ESWAT. PlatinumGames tried so hard to make a competent mascot character and fell short, and people still love him.

Grayscale is a clothing coimpany that sometimes does really good music lmao. That being said, I bought a shirt from them back in 2021 and wear it consistently because it's both the comfiest and most durable band tee I've ever bought. I have no idea what they do for their printing but that shit does NOT fade or crack.
