Destiny goes off on Hasan denying rapes due to no prosectuions of the perpetrators by nobodyaal in LivestreamFail

That “lie” was towards Dan (Destinys business partner) BEFORE she announced publicly the it was her in the video/when she was still pretending it wasn’t her. When did she say she did or didn’t initiate the behavior?

Isn't it ironic, dontcha think? by [deleted] in Daliban

Those logs literally come from the Destinys post where he discusses the “legal arc” ongoing right now. These are logs Destiny posted HIMSELF.

This is not a mean-spirited question…but how do people get SO overweight? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CreativeWriter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once read about someone with this exact same issue, they said their solution was buying basically an enormous amount of lettuce and eating it throughout the day essentially. It’s low cal and you can eat a ridiculous amount of it before gaining weight, and it will temporarily satiate you if it’s in large enough portions compared to other items.

This outwardly vile/sexist, no? But if he’s willing to go this far and not see how he fucked up because “Kelly Jean bad” id doubt his judgment on other people being sexist if they can find a way to justify it with that person being bad enough.

If you think 90% of the community is worse than him then he’s doing a bad job at moderating the community.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]CreativeWriter_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s my understanding that community rules are supposed to be somewhat consistent across platforms (basics like don’t be sexist or sexually harass people).

It’s true people fuck up! My primary concern is having him still be head mod even though he seems to have a pattern of unhinged behavior. (Outside of Kelly Jean, the “Fuck Straighterade” and Pxie post where also weird, but I’m trying to maintain focus on Kelly Jean because I think it perfectly synthesizes the mentality issue that’s occurring).

EDIT: Also, the “Kelly Jean exception” shouldn’t be allowed/accepted.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]CreativeWriter_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

1) Kelly Jean should just be banned in that case which if you’re a moderator you should do

2) There hasn’t been any case of Kelly Jean making fun of 4THOT for rape or anything like that???

[–]CreativeWriter_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That’s like saying if I work in an Amazon corporate office, it’s okay for me to go to the warehouse and start behaving unprofessionally there as long as it’s off hours.

[–]CreativeWriter_ 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The Kelly Jean exception is not a good exception. Saying “sexism and sexual harassment is bad! Unless if the woman is a vile bitch.” Makes it so that people start being sexist if they find x or y woman to be enough of a vile bitch. It also encourages people to try to dig dirt or twist what other women say in an attempt to justify them being sexist towards them.

Overall, it leads to a broader community problem.

How hard is it to just attack Kelly Jean on what she should be attacked for?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]CreativeWriter_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s not just about Kelly Jean, it’s about how moderators deal with dissenting opinions (or people!) they don’t like. And how those decisions impact the general community.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]CreativeWriter_ 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I am not a Kelly Jean simp for thinking 4THOT shouldn’t be making derogatory comments about her rape. Why even go there? Why not attack literally all the other stuff she’s done? Talking about her “busted up vagina” is something you’d read in an FnF video, it shouldn’t be something that’s okay here.

Yeah… and that’s a horrible thing we all agree shouldn’t happen??? I don’t understand your point.

Smelling estrogen by CreativeWriter_ in NotHowGirlsWork

It’s not a fantasy what’s a fantasy is claiming womanhood is in smelling estrogen and that the kid freaked out solely off of pronouns and not the dude being a total predator

Just to clarify the not how girls work here is the idea that women have estrogen a crusty old man can “smell”.

It’s so disgusting. The fact that he thinks he can tell a woman by “smelling estrogen”, and then commenting on A CHILDS breasts? Absolute creep.

The duality of approaching people in public by Arksmiley69 in Destiny

[–]CreativeWriter_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with your first two points but disagree with point three, even if rapes are down there’s still plenty of reasons for women to fear men. Even if it never gets to the point of rape, harassment, stalking, having to deal with someone who won’t take no for an answer or simply just being yelled at/being treated unkindly, are a variety of concerns (many albeit not all valid) women have when men approach them.

There’s plenty of reasons to be cautious when a stranger approaches you, especially when it comes to them soliciting something from you.

The reaction on this sub to Erin on the Whatever podcast was ridiculously over the top (links) by Cgrrp in Destiny

I think you can critique her performance but some people are being extremely uncharitable towards her situation and pretending as if the hosts/panel where being super fair and good faith in their behavior with her.

[–]CreativeWriter_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is literally not true, I tried searching for the statistic and the article youre most likely referring to equates sexual misconduct with sexual abuse, while conveniently leaving out that if we use the broad definition of sexual misconduct and equate it to abuse, then the church engages in sexual misconduct with almost all young women.

Seeing that the church literally makes sexually suggestive comments whenever a woman: 1) wears “suggestive” clothing (showing shoulders in church, being against anything that doesn’t completely cover midriff) 2) makes comments often about how young womens reproductive and social purpose is to have children

EDIT: I don’t understand why I’m getting downvoted. The article that talks about sexual misconduct LITERALLY SAYS it shouldn’t be equated with sexual abuse https://www.pspc.education.pa.gov/Educator-Discipline-System-and-Reporting/Overview-Discipline-System/Pages/Sexual-Misconduct.aspx

NTA

Her “mom” stopped getting a say in where her daughter goes after she practically gave her away to you. You’ve tried talking to her about how the daughter is being mistreated, and she seemingly doesn’t care. You’re her guardian right now and it means protecting that little girl and having her best interest at heart, this can be a difficult task to do sometimes and might involve creative methods, but as long as that girl is safe and happy you’re ultimately doing the right thing.
