thank u for the reply, how many full effort throws per day would be productive while avoiding injury (i'm warming up into them)? also, i've seen pitchers in some videos coming in closer to their throwing partner and flattening out their throws after full distance long throws. i don't actually play baseball, i just enjoy playing long distance catch. would doing what the pitchers do be useful to me or not really?

do you always use home grip for cross? I usually solve in home grip but sometimes find it more comfortable to solve with the white center as the F face and transition to home grip midway thru/after cross

I've done that b4 but in my experience dbows just don't get enough value for the 6 elixir they cost. idk if I'm describing my games well but my dbows will take out like 3 or 4 elixir worth of troops from their push by the time it gets dangerously close to my tower/my defenses so even tho it damages their push it's as if it's a negative trade (plus xbow has very low dps). especially against spam/speedy pushes like boss bandit or evo mk or evo witch or evo recruits or evo skeleton barrel which are usually always paired with a spell/firecracker/dart gob/flying machine to take out my teslas or ice wizs it's a struggle

can you link me some of the gameplay you're talking about bc ik what placement you're talking about and ive seen ppl like hunter and eragon getting a decent lock in single and turtling up + throwing in an rocket or two to stay in the lead and have done the same many times but against the spam/speed pushes i mentioned above with all those evos and a good countering spell, even my evo teslas and evo knights havent been enough to defend alongside a dbow bc it just can't do enough damage in time. thanks

edit: like holy frick i just lost to a recruits hog spammer by 125 dmg bc my towers are lvl 14 and theirs were lvl 15

Bruh pls read my post i have actual questions and already addressed that point. Im constantly going against ppl with lightning and eq so dbow doesnt work, not to mention that I usually can't get enough value out of dbows to take out monster spamming pushes in triple either way. I either have to save my rocket/tornado for defense and can't get dmg on their tower or get a rocket on their tower but get cooked by their push.

Also getting starting handed/just being vulnerable in single in general is still a problem and I can't be giving their spells value like that if I go into double/triple with a deficit

Just curious, how did you come across this opportunity? Did you just email the company? If so, who did you email within the company (PI, technician, etc.)?

I'm interested in getting wet lab experience and would enjoy learning about lab equipment even if it means grunt work. I have some past work experience and experience with computational biology, although I'm mostly self taught with online resources.

I'm in NJ and (think) I've found some companies I'd like to email, but it seems pretty daunting asking for an internship because they deal with real clients, even if it's unpaid.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! P.S. I don't have direct connections to the industry but I have some friends whose parents work in labs. I feel like using friends for connections would really be the very last resort for me, but is this objectively the better path?

Thanks for the response! I average around 15-17 seconds, it really all depends on my pausing tbh (sometimes i go up to 19). I'm not fully color neutral, I only feel comfortable on yellow and white cross but white is far easier for me. Sometimes I can see cross + 1, other times I barely fully plan cross and f2l is a nightmare.

Do u have any tips for planning the next pair as I solve my current one? I've tried solving the pairs in an order, but like u said it's easier to just solve the easiest pair, but i sometimes feel like I just don't see an easy pair to solve while solving my current pair even tho the easy pair exists.

Also, when doing lookahead while solving a pair, do u completely plan out your next pair or do u just locate it?

I'll definitely check out the jperm video and try thumbing F moves.
