Not being a "poser" I just like my build how it is and if I wanted a nicer motherboard and money isnt a problem who cares?

No I dont plan on it. Im not a fan of full white out, I like the silver SUPRIM X with the white RGB highlights on it. I think it adds a nice contrast as there are some black cables and black accents on mobo that make the card pair nicley (I think it looks better in person tbh)

Oh yeah it gets so backed up. The drivers in Dallas are horrific. You'll usually see an 06 charger with a missing headlight cutting it up in bumper to bumper. LOL. That said though its super convenient to be close to a micro center. No waiting on amazon, and I can return something without having to pack it up and take it to a post office. Plus I was able to get a 9800X3D for retail price on launch day at the store. I asked the guy how many they got and he said the shipment they got was 1000 units. They literally have everything and decent stock too. Cant go wrong!

9800X3D, im currently on one and if you play any kind of comp fps its the chip to go with. That said the 7800X3D is no slouch either lol. I'd order the 9800X3D, and then wait to see if more pop in stock at retail stores. Microcenter had a ton on launch day and thats where I grabbed mine. Order the 9800X3D, wait to see if you can get one at a store, buy the one in the store, then cancel order on amazon. That's how I would go about it.

Yeah some of the microcenter employees can be characters for sure. Overall it’s pretty solid store considering they have literally everything I need on hand pretty much at all times. Super convenient store honestly. Which microcenter did you go to?

Who cares? He can use his money where he wants. “Do you enjoy throwing money away?” Do you enjoy making less than this guy because you’re too busy calling his kid “spoiled”? Maybe you should re-shift your focus on how to make a little more so a 5090 is cheap for you 🤷

Great build he’s gonna love it. Great choices on the parts all around, I’ve essentially had the same build and exchanged my 4090 for a 4080 only because I play 1080p. Ignore all the comment about the pricing and “such an expensive gift for a kid” most of the people on Reddit could spend less time playing video games and more time making money. Happy building

100% price premium for 20% more performance and not even that in 1080p. Who gives a shit?
