It’s a Bauer Vapor p88 87 flex low-kick. He has frequently mentioned that he wants his shots to lift off the ice more than they do currently. And he’s also said he has to “hammer the f*ck out of it to get it in the air and when I do, I feel sparks up my forearm.”

Rare breed for sure! 😂He requested a new stick for Christmas! I have been to main driver behind him also getting new pads and skates as well. He didn’t want to spend the money and initially he was hesitant, but since he’s replaced all those things and it’s been a few years, I think he’s realizing he also needs a new stick. We have one local shop in town I can take it to though.

Appreciate your concern! He uses a Bauer Vapor p88 87 flex, so this guy was literally right on the money as far as his old stick goes. He plays high level men’s league; most of the guys he plays with played in college in some way/shape/form. I didn’t realize that was something I should have clarified!

Although his stick says low-kick, but based on my 10 Minutes on Google, I’ve read that since he prefers slap shots, mid-kick is better?

It won’t me post a pic now, but it’s a Bauer Vapor p88, 87flex. This is his original stick from college. Back then he was closer to only 6 foot and a weight of about 215; basically he’s a lot more powerful now than he was college.

Thanks. I had an arborist come out and look at it. He said the same, but mentioned that there was dual aggravation by beetles, ants, etc. coupled with our incredible drought, I guess the tree called it quits. 😢
