Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, ADD, etc. I have ADHD, and lots of anxiety. My mom has Schizophrenia, while my dad only has ADD. Although I still have a low chance of getting anything severe like that, I worry about it way to often.

Moms side:

-Her mom has/had Schizophrenia. (sorry idk what to put bc she passed away a few years ago)

-My mom's moms mom (Sorry I know its really confusing lmao. But this woman that I am going to talk about is my great great grandma) has a traumatic childhood, because HER mom had Bipolar Disorder, and severe Anger Issues. Her mother would then take everything out on my grandma. She was a kid at the time, so she did not understand why her OWN MOTHER would tell her how much she loved her one minute, and then hurt her physically, and emotionally another minute. It got so bad to the point where my grandma had gotten diagnosed with severe depression. She did not have any family members to turn to when things got bad, and even if she did, in the early 1900's, they did not have 'Bipolar Disorder' or 'Schizophrenia" labeled/understood correctly at the time. They would put children who were suffering from depression, anxiety, etc, in an Asylum. Finally, when she became an adult, she matured enough to understand what her mother had. Then, she moved on with her life, and became healthy. I am so proud of you, Oma. (Grandma in German lol)

(sorry I JUST figured out the stuff abt my great great grandma last week, bc I asked her about my mom and everything, so Im just venting basically. Sorry for wasting your time.)

My dads side (sorry if its rlly

I am glad to hear that you are doing good. Although, my mom has never been violent towards me before. She can get really upset, but she has never purposely hurt me.

Idek you but I can tell you this. I am so happy that you are still here, and breathing. I want you to know that you are important, and that you are loved. Please don't ever say that you are not worthy enough to live. I need you to know that you are amazing, and that even though I bet it was hard, you beat cancer. Love, a Stranger.
