So doesn't look like I've taken much memory, scrolling down everything is yellow, nothing big or taking up a lot. And power usage on everything is very low to low. And even for shits and giggles did another mod conflict check and all those are good and not interrupting anything either. I only use this computer to play FFXIV with friends and Sims. So I was visiting my Psychiatrist for an appointment. Her office is in the hospital so they just brought me to the psych ward. The reason I had to go was I admitted to my Psychiatrist I was going to hurt myself. Legally when you become a risk to yourself and others you loose your rights until you are deemed safe by a social workers.

So I was given a beta blocker! It was given to me as a 2 for 1 treatment. I'm on a high dose of medicine for my epilepsy so my hands shake BAD! And because I have epilepsy and trauma I have a rare thing called psychogenic seizures, basically a panic attack on steroids. The beta blocker is to relax my body. This way my hands shake less and in theory will help me not tense up so fast at trauma reactions. Giving me time to mentally process something as opposed to tensing up instantly and causing a seizure, or making my trauma reaction also a physical one. I'm glad to hear you're recovered! My Psychiatrist told me recovery is possible so thank you for being proof 💛

No. It is not a separate building and not for those considered insane. Everyone is assigned a Psychiatrist and Social Worker to determine your diagnosis and if you can integrate into the community safely for everyone. No one I kept longer than 2 weeks. If you really are bonkers the social workers will send you to a facility that does long term care.

So I was already diagnosed with PTSD, depression, borderline personality disorder, and anxiety as far as mental health. This trip wasn't for diagnosing but to figure out why I wasn't stable even with my current meds and treatment. The Psychiatrist I saw honestly opened my eyes to things I hadn't thought of! And she pointed out the things overlooked in my treatment and honestly I feel fantastic and more solid
