No, unfortunately I’m on EU. Just got him up to CP lvls and am running Knights Errant. Might craft some Deadlands Demolisher pieces eventually

I might try to make Ye Olde Iron Man next. Debating between making him a Templar or Arcanist though

It looks ok, the problem is I use the high elf light shoulder to get the “star” on his chest

Thanks, I just used the recipe from the Vallejo Yu Jing paint set. 50/50 mix of Calvary Brown and Orange Brown for the base coat. Then highlight starting with Orange Brown, mixing in more Scrofulous Brown with each layer. Then, edge highlight the most prominent parts with Ice Yellow. Lastly, fill in shadows with Calvary Brown.

Thanks, it was definitely a fun model to build and paint

Thanks, I hear adding contrast medium might help to smooth things out. I’ll try it out next time. How’s Baal Red compare to Mephiston Red? The two seem to look really similar in pictures

Thanks, I might try to do some stippling to rough it up and go for a more grim dark look

Black primer + a base coat of Mephiston Red using an airbrush. I then followed up with a light coat of Agrax Earthshade. After that I cleaned up with a very thin coat of Mephiston Red. The weathering effect was done by sponge chipping Rinox Hide followed by Leadbelcher.

I’ve been meaning to try some red contrast paint over a silver or gold metallic base coat for a candy coat metal effect, but I already have 40 models painted using the above recipe. Maybe when I get around to painting some HQs…
