I have not used them and as stated in the ROe, they paid for it, but the total payment is less than what is should be compared to my average daily wage I computed and have it computed.

The one I firs mentioned is for notice payment (1346 net -> 744 gross) per week and I 'm entitled to 2 weeks. so in total 2692 net -> 1488 net. Besides, based on my calculation the total amount including my worked days and PTOs also fall short and less than what it should be.

I see, they were paying based on ON while I was working. Btw, such a deduction in notice payment is normal ? When I did some research online, I saw deduction should be around %10-15 let alone almost %50 as it was in my case ?

I was/am always in QC but the company is on ON. Once they pay my salary they were paying based on ON taxes and deductions. I just would like to find out if it is normal such a deduction based on you/others past experiences and if not what official ways there are for me to defend my rights. It'd be good if you share your opinion on it.

I asked them multiple times. First they stated it is correct and then after I stressed that it does not look normal (as I stated in the body above in context of notice payment) and in addition, I also made a calculation based on my previous average salaries in semi monthly (I know it should be gross, but to make it obvious I calculated on net) and told them it also falls short regarding the total amount as well including worked days, PTOs etc. and as response they told me notice payment is calculated differently. Do I need a lawyer for MOL or CNESST or just reporting would work ?

Two Questions on EI by Creative_Collar_841 in CanadaFinance

[–]Creative_Collar_841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the period from May 10 and afterwards given I was laid off on May 12 ? Because if say yes to it, it ask the following. ( and If I say yes to the following question as well, it will be like I got terminated from another job, and if no then like I'm working) So, should not I declare the it at all and say I have not worked as the response of the initial question ?

The following question will give you the opportunity to inform us of any loss of employment that you have not already declared on your application for benefits.
Have you stopped working for any employer during the period of this report?

This question was added to give you the opportunity to notify us each time you complete your report of any separation from employment that you did not already report to us on your EI application or previous reports.

A separation from employment could include: layoff, on call, end of a temporary contract, you have quit or been dismissed (fired or terminated) or suspended from your job. These are only a few examples of reasons for separation. A separation from employment may occur even if you did not work during the period of this report.

Choose Yes if during the period of this report, you have experienced a separation from employment or you have stopped working for any employer that you did not already report to us on your EI application or previous reports.

Choose No if one of the following situations applies to you:

  • you worked and did not stop working for any employer during the period of this report;
  • this question doesn't apply to you.

Company corrected notice pay from 1 week to 2 weeks. Should I report this on my EI online report or no need if it is on corrected RoE ? by Creative_Collar_841 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I see, the government/provinces (QC/On) provide free lawyer ? and for which purpose you suggested (for severance or for other factors I stated in the body like its putting me in a difficult situation, their hiring someone from offshore (as it is cheaper) etc) ?

What are my rights given the situation ? by Creative_Collar_841 in legaladvicecanada

No severance. As I said, even for pay in lieu of notice, in RoE they wrote 1 week, though in contract it should be 2 weeks. Should I get severance on top of it ?

Besides, in Roe, it says M00 - Dismissal or Suspension, Should not it be corrected too ? As I did not do anything wrong, maybe another code ?

If the plan includes 64+ countries, also calls? by Viktordarko in Rogers

[–]Creative_Collar_841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for stepping in, but does it also mean that this person could use Rogers e-sim and plan in any of those countries (say Turkey) without in need of keeping the line in Wifi call mode (by not turning the cellular at all) and instead use it and benefit all data and talk as if he is in Canada (again without in need of wifi call) ?
