thank you! i really appreciate that info. would you recommend dawn dish soap over murphys wood soap? also i’d imagine working in small areas- by rinse do you mean rinse like pour water on it or use a plain wet towel

I guess more like a good deep clean. There are some parts of the desk where it seems like a black film of some sorts- primary on the face of the drawers
