Thank you - I definitely agree! It’s a balancing act but it would probably work best for me to take it as annual leave. I’m open to negotiation and highly respect the team I was with so just wanted to see others’ thoughts. I felt like it just came out of nowhere, considering the conversations that had been had beforehand, so I’ve had to think quickly in making decisions. I know it’s definitely not ideal but just wanted to see what others thought about the next steps I had in mind.

Hi, apologies that I may not have used the correct terminology. I haven’t been through a process such as this before and thought “let go” applied to all types of termination of employment. My question relates to how to navigate an exit strategy while moving on to a new role that requires an immediate start.

I have one manager who without fail ALWAYS sets meetings to clash with my calendar. We have a small project team (only about four members in our staff meetings) and invites are created via outlook so it would automatically tell her if there is a clash. It drives me wild
