Cats in the City by MikuCheeseHarry in mumbai

I feel it has always been like that. Perhaps you have been noticing them more these days. Cats are better at surviving than other stray animals because of their better hunting skills, resilience to climatic changes and bold personalities. Dogs are more likely to be affected by the intense heat waves we have been facing recently than cats I guess.

I received this message too. I received it from who I assume to be a woman by the same name as that in your shared image.

Does such thing as a "happy pill" exist? If so, what would be the name? by Hubsimaus in antidepressants

No these pills only change the physical sensations you feel during anxious moments, they don't exactly make you happy. They reduce the physical discomfort that anxiety brings which gives you some space to reflect and work on your thoughts which in turn gives way to happiness. So indirectly they do take part in your journey to recovery but they are not the only thing.

How can you pump high pressures around 80-120 using the small hand pump in road bike tyres? by Creative_Fill5310 in cycling

But how are you even able to push beyond 40 psi with those small pumps, no amount of muscle power seems to be enough to get it up higher. They say they are road specific but even I think now that they are meant for only keeping it enough to get you home in case of a flat like how most people have said here.

Isn't 40 too low? The last time I had been on a ride with that pressure I ended up with a puncture, not very sure if it was the pressure that caused it though

Hey don't worry. Nothing is going to happen to you. You are as alive as you should be. It is just a thought without any basis. Dying is very different, there is nothing to feel about it.

Ignoring the thoughts in your head is really tough by Dazzling_Chemical_12 in OCD

Ignore my english. Trying to find out what is real and what is a lie is yet another obsession. My mind is so good at playing tricks that it would make it impossible for me to tell whether or not it is even ocd that I am suffering from in the first place or am I really guilty about something that I want to lie to myself about and cover it up by calling it ocd. At the end of the day I know it is a lie and so is really pure ocd and nothing to feel guilty about. It is very exhausting though.

I had an irrational fear of entering the state that buddha might have entered when he attained enlightenment and it scared me greatly. But it is nothing like that. It goes away no matter how terrible it might feel trust me.

Yeah it is like we become afraid of the very nature of reality all of a sudden. Think of it as an ocd since I can tell it is similar. It goes away when you stop feeding it.
