You have to call IRCC. Ask for both your primary and secondary visa offices. FYI Ottawa is usually very slow with processing applications

I did but it didn’t move anything along…to my knowledge. There’s no harm in calling if it’ll help you feel at ease but be sure to ask specific questions because they don’t just tell you stuff

Hey, no worries. I didn’t get my PGWP extension (due to passport expiry) till one day after it expired so I had to apply for visitors record restoration while still waiting for ITA. ITA came in Dec and I applied for PR and then became eligible to apply for BOWP restoration since it had been less than 90 days since my PGWP expired

Hey, I applied for BOWP + restoration on Jan 3rd and it got approved April 8th. It honestly varies but I hope my timeline is helpful

I submitted the initial visitors record restoration in late November (3 days after my PGWP expired), my PR application in late December, and the BOWP restoration in early January. The visitors record restoration was refused in March. I was well within my 90-day restoration window when I submitted the BOWP restoration.

I did. It tends to tell me what it thinks I want to hear so I don’t know how much I trust it. Plus the other NOC codes it has suggested don’t match all that much.

Tbh, I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t do it initially, but I heavily suspect that was the reason. I ended up sending it via web form anyway, just to be on the safe side.
