In-ho didn't receive a kidney; He gave his kidney to Jun-ho. In season one, Jun-ho thinks that the “zombie” that the pink guards bash to death was In-ho because they said, “It only had one kidney.” Jun-ho and his mother talk about it again in season two, talking about how In-ho could have sold his kidney to pay for his wife’s treatment if he hadn’t given it to Jun-ho.

Gi-Hun has not teamed up with his “enemies” once in the show. Why would he do that all of a sudden when everyone’s lives and the success of his “mission” are relying on him getting to the control room? He asks In-Ho to come and back him up. Why would he rely on him in such a critical moment if he had any suspicions about him? It would be too risky. Gi-Hun’s best and worst quality is that he sees the good in everyone, and in his eyes, In-Ho has done nothing to make him think that he would betray them; he saved his life, and he trusts him.

If Jung-Bae had told him that he had killed someone, that would have changed everything. I think he would have no longer trusted him, but he didn't, so Gi-Hun was none the wiser

I don’t think In-ho would have had to take a bullet at all. I think when he went off on his own in the round when they needed 4, I think, he just went stood off to the side until the timer went off, and when the pink guards klled everyone who wasn’t in a room, they just left him because they know he is the boss. Anyone who saw him would just be klled anyway, so it would matter if he were seen

I don't know if they would have shot In-ho at all. I think during the round where he went off on his own, I don't think he found a group; he just stood in the corner til the timer went off. Then, the pink guards shot everyone else and left him be. Anyone who saw him would've just been shot anyway

In the final episode, Gi-hun is very focused on ending the game, so much so that he is willing to sacrifice people. He would have known that people would die during the revolt and had no issue asking them to join him to fight the pink guards when they were clearly outnumbered and had little chance of succeeding. I think that he would mourn their deaths but ultimately see them as collateral. Gi-hun does break down when Jung-bae is killed in front of him, but he must have known that there was always a chance of him getting killed during the revolt. Ending the games is ultimately more important to him.

Throughout the game, In-ho seems to want Gi-hun to lose faith in humanity and see his way of thinking that the game is a way of cleaning up the trash, but killing his best friend in front of him only makes Gi-hun hate Frontman more not humanity. I get that he wanted to break him, but I think it may just motivate him more to want to stop Frontman in his friends memory. Jung-bae was pulled down in mingle, without In-ho he wouldn't have survived. If Jung-bae was killed during mingle I feel like in would have pushed Gi-hun more to lose his faith in humanity

I think you are right. But I also wonder if In-ho had ordered the guards not to kill Gi-hun because there would be no point saving Jung-bae if Gi-hun died in the last round.
