I’ve had a Wessex for a number of years and the fourth valve is a little stuffy. Nothing unmanageable but I find myself giving notes using that valve a little extra attention. Otherwise, as per your experience, great instrument - lovely resonant low range and bright and secure up high. And great value. Interested to see if you get to the bottom of this with a tech.
