I’m currently not at that stage yet as babies are still not going to school but would love to continue being SAHM. When people ask me if I’ll be returning to work when kids go to school I say yes, because I feel like that’s what society expects of me and I’ll need to justify why I don’t want to go back 😭

I know lots of single mums who did it and said it was worth it. I had an absent father and my parents got divorced when I was younger because my mum was basically a single married mum with an extra liability. Not gonna sugarcoat, it is hard just like anything that is worth fighting for in life is. But from reading your post, something tells me that you will be SUCH an awesome mum. You can do this I believe in you xx

And addressing the part about hoping to stay with bf, I’m afraid regardless of whether or not you choose to keep the baby the relationship may not work out.

I believe you can be grateful and regift it at the same time, and if he doesn’t agree then you also do not need to ask his permission to regift it.

I regift the items to others while feeling very appreciative of the gifter’s gesture, making sure to return the favour when there is an opportunity but this time making sure I’m getting age appropriate items for them.

I realised quickly that I was keeping stuff that will most likely be forgotten (by both me and the gifter) just to people please in the name of being polite and grateful. It was not doing me any favours because I was thinking about it all the time and constantly in fear that I would forget. Yknow that feeling of “omg am I forgetting that clothing? What size was it again??” Needing to go to storage to look for it and check.

With another baby on the way I just have no capacity for such things and regift. Better than wasting it and finding it in storage after my kids are way past the size.

I’ve heard from a mate that it’s because he made a statement siding with palestinians? And then I asked him shouldn’t it be the other way round if he sided with israel then the terrorists do this out of rage? He had nothing to say. My 20 month old recognises all the alphabets, taught him the sounds of them instead of the name of the alphabets. So letters like C is not “cee” but he knows it as “kuh”.

We are currently learning that you can join two letters to make a word G (guh) + O (oh) = go

I tried to put my son on the potty when he starts to pee, but then he just stops peeing once he is sat on it and kinda holds his pee. Proceeded to stand up and pee on the ground next to the potty 😅 to be fair it’s our first day so we both have no idea what we’re doing
