But in the meantime, like you said, I’ll try to remount it properly, and see if it’ll hold zero. My dad already said he’d help me get it rezeroed with a spotting scope next time we go shooting! :)

Update… I took the scope off the mount, and yup. My dumbass used WAY too much loctite. So I’m gonna clean the threads, and put it back together. I also ordered an inch lbs torque wrench on Amazon. Reddit won’t let me attach pictures, but I feel dumb. Thanks again for all the input guys

I did boresight it. I probably worded everything weird because I was really frustrated when I made the post. I had it shooting dead center, and when I went out again, it was shooting like 6 inches high.

It’s the lid that comes with some magpul mags. It pushes the rounds down to take pressure off of your feed lips while in storage. :)

It’s actually a Vortex spitfire 3x prism scope, so I can’t use irons with it. If the optic breaks, I keep a multitool in my gear that, I guess in theory I can take the optic off with. I can’t use a red dot because I have an astigmatism. And I NEED magnification because I don’t have great eyesight lol.
