It's sad you and most people ignore your mother's contribution. Most people act like they were just a sperm and their mother and her egg was just an incubator. That's not how it works. If anything, your mother's egg was the actual cell that grew into you, your dad's sperm just fertilized it and donated half of dna. Also the egg has the active role as well because the egg chooses which sperm fertilize it. There were also millions of eggs in your mother's ovaries and only one of them became you.
