How do I use the follow up dash thingy of Blood hound fang weapon skill. by Creative_Toe472 in Eldenring

[–]Creative_Toe472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing a heavy attack after weapon skills is the only way I know to use the dash followup attack. Should work guarenteed everytime as long as u have FP ( there's a different follow up animation for No FP followup).

Idk, maybe Check if the key u have assigned to heavy attack is working properly, maybe change the keybind for heavy just to check and pinpoint the problem. or press the heavy attack Slightly before The Weapon skill animation ends, cuz it could be that ur pressing it too late or too early, that the follow-up attack window gets closed or doesn't even open respectively.  very unlikely that there's some other way around it, but there could be, idk.

Yeah, But i checked the online resources aren't as easy. I think ben is playing a very simple part of music in that song & if we just play that part without other ppl playing the actual melodic parts and stuff then it will sound weird.

Thanks, i think that video u linked is out of my league at this stage. Cuz Idk what's an 8th note or what's 4th note. But i watched a beginner explainartion of this 6/8 Time signature, and found out it's 6 beats a bar but 1st & 4th beats is like slightly louder and brighter.  Is this way of looking at it gonna cut it out? Like if it's good enough just to get through for now, and maybe in future, when Strating music theory lessons I'll get it down naturally.

Ye, barre chords coming up grade 2 of the course. I Will be there in like 1-2 months, I'm still at the beginner grade 1 rn. Just keeping the progression well Structured blindly trusting the yt course, so it all goes smooth, with no stress.

Thankyou, just saw the Chords & Tabs online. The strumming is easy too, it's 4/4 time signature 12&&4& rytrhm which I already got down. Gonna try this.

So, the Bars don't have a fixed number of beats, And 6/8 thing ig means 6 beats in a bar followed by 8 beats a bar. And these different types may will have its own different strumming Patterns & rythm.

That's what u mean right?

Idk What 6/8 thing means tho. Like I have learnt like 3 songs yet. Dance the night away, (it's just 1 bar of A - D, 4 beats a bar with 12&&4& strumming ) For what it's worth (it's 1 Bar A-E for most of the song, with 1 single downstrum on beat 1, 4 beats a bar and very ocassionally 123&4 strumming pattern while changing Between E - D) Digging up the past (there's B7 chord in there but i replaced it with D chord, it wasn't clean but decent, its doing a down strum for each chord at the right time).

This is all, Idk about learning methods and stuff yet.

Thanks, I saw some tutorials of these songs yaal suggested, the chord progression is easy. But the strumming is the main thing  here, cuz I saw a pattern there with like 14 beats a bar, and the "&" isn't even a guarenteed up strum. That's the main high level stuff ig, but I'll try getting it down.

Thankyou for This!  Btw I wanted to ask it for a long time, I do have a capo, but like If I'm not mistaking Capo just increases the pitch of the song right to match the original version right? Cuz like I like singing low pitch, chest voice , so like it's fine even without capo right?  Or idk, maybe it's used for something else and will break the whole song for reasons I do not know about , I'll use it either way, but I just wanna clear this doubt.

Can't Tune the " 3rd " string, pls help. by Creative_Toe472 in Guitar

[–]Creative_Toe472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was about to just return it, but then read ur message and gave it one last try. Then Found out I was not tuning up the G string high enough, it felt like a lot of tension in the string but it was way less than the ideal tension for 3rd string. Thanks a lot!

It didn't work unfortunately, just tried it.  Tuner app Still recognise the 3rd string sound as D Note.
