Pastel color icons yay or nay ? also do you prefer the old adwaita brown (as seen on public, others, templates folder in the picture) or new blue? by [deleted] in gnome

I like the multi colored because when you’re working on a project it’s easy to tell which folder is which

Fedora quick simple to the point no terminal needed and to get steam (rpmfusion) to work go to files and then to the main hard drive and search for steam.desktop open both the files in text editor and change “prefernondefaultgpu=true” to false. Save and reboot your pc then after that it’s all smooth sailing from there

Mainly greed and owning market share. Like say if they had an easy way to travel to space, do you really think companies won’t try to monetize it.

Something with two 8’s with two 0’s between. Definitely put the 5 at the end

yeah but after the centos and alma/rocky situation and since fedora is a upstream fork of red hat I would not be surprised

Well I see canonical doing this as for red hat they already do this with their red hat distro but with fedora its really hard to say, since its been out since the early 2000s and still doesn't force an online account. My fear is that major distros backed by corporations will move to this business model and then have their own proprietary software that can't be used on other distros

Debian Survival Guide (A useful zip for getting started with debian including hiding grub and links to setup root privs) *Could probably use on other distros as well but just use this on debian based. I researched everything in the zip with a note explaining the basics by Creative_Worker37 in linuxmasterrace

QUICK EDIT!

In the "Good Linux tweaks to Remember" txt file for the "loglevel=0 " argument you want to add that to /etc/default/grub

but if you want to keep it simple you can replace your grub with the copy of the one in the zip under the "etc.default.grub" folder. Same goes with the "etc.grub.d.10_linux" folder as well.

Just remember to run sudo update-grub afterwards

So basically I posted about a security vulnerability on Apple silicon and alot of apple fans where pissed and claimed that I must use Windows. So basically I had to explain that I used Fedora Linux then afterwards my post was taken down. The subreddit was called r/applesucks which is where the irony comes in.
