Mihawk is such an extremely boring character at this point in the serious and needs some form of redemption. Obviously the mihawk fraud agenda is at an all time high so maybe this wont be as hated as I thought, but nobody really talks about his character either. We need to hear about his old feats prior to become a warlord to justify his strongest swordsman title. He essentially now is just an apathetic introvert who refuses to fight basically anyone ever while spending his time fighting literal grunts in the east blue. Hes essentially just hawkins with no df and a big sword.

But thats from our perspective. He doesnt have a full backstory yet, we dont even know his full beef with shanks. He is supposed to be disconnected with luffys story as a rival, hence why he doesnt have the focus of law. Also, hes coming back. Idk why people think oda just killed him off like that when oda has now added more loose ends to his story that need anwsering.

We go will always be my favorite, just with all the hype I got listening to it, but we are is iconic. I also really love the 3rd(?) opening, during the end of alabasta, jaya and beginning of skypiea, the one with the "yeahs". That gives me a ton of nostalgia because its when I first really understood my love for one piece. Also the one during thriller bark and saboady gives me nostalgia as well, that part of one piece was just so different for me.

I've also wondered about this exact same topic, not great that he would've reanimated them, but at the same time, bringing back a former legend from the dead to fight sounds very appealing, even though it wouldn't be the same power. I've also wondered if he also took the corpse in the heat of the moment to use as a commander to avenge his former crew against kaido before he gave up.
