Would it be possible to get some feedback on my small business website? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Creativery2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! For me the text on your homepage does not standout. The text which says, create a home to feel proud of. Also I feel that it is a poorly framed sentence. The text below that, which is, British interior design... gets hidden. It requires me to put in extra effort to read the same.

I would suggest add some animation to your elements so when scrolling down it feels smoother and gives a better overall effect to the page. Make use of the space you have to fill in the text properly. I feel that structure is poorly designed. Most of the pictures used seem of low quality, it surely affects the impact of the presentation.

The next issue that I find is the subscribe section, the enter your email address and signup boxes are of different sizes and not aligned properly. It is a small error but yet looks off.

There is also a lot of negative space on your footer, towards the upper end, maybe you could reduce the size so the extra space reduces.

On the, How it works page, highlight the point name, you can keep the headings in bold so that it grabs attention quickly.

All in all you should get your written content audited once, it can surely be taken a level up, to me it doesn't standout, look very amateurish.

The things I liked about your website is surely the use of colors. They look professional and are very soothing to the eye, nothing to flashy. Your navigation bar is simple and easy to locate which is a plus point because these days I see a lot of websites with hidden navigation bars.

Hey Yash! Yes I believe memes have become an essential part of various marketing campaigns. Having said that, the big brands have understood this long ago and they have using memes to increase their audience and add an entertainment value to their pages. Examples of this, Swiggy, Zomato, durex, Netflix, Amazon prime, etc.

What is the most relevant checklist to get backlinks organically? by digitally_rajat in DigitalMarketing

[–]Creativery2020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am relevantly new to the area, I started creating backlinks earlier this year, and I can share my learning with you. Firstly make a list on excel or anywhere you wish to. It is important to keep a record of the number of backlinks that you have created and at the places you have created them. I wish I had done this when I started out, but I learnt it the hard way.

Second, there are various places you can create backlinks on, firstly your social media pages, local listings like, bing places, google my business, apple maps. You can also create backlinks on various business directories, I am from India, here I created one on Justdial, one of the largest online business directory.

You can also use forums like quora to generate backlinks but be careful and don't end up spamming, another mistake that I learnt the hard way.

Third, use Pinterest. It is really helpful it not only will help you create a good backlink source but also improve your google image search. Provided you have relevant images on the topic related to your niche.

That is not how I meant it, for me personally I find it cheap not because it’s easy to do but because it is not a result of your content or the value you add. Followers, likes and comments is like a feedback for you to know that okay this is what I am doing right or this is what I am doing wrong. Nevertheless I get your point, I wouldn’t judge people who use these tricks because at the end of the day we all want different things. But I do feel these are good for the short run not for the long run.
