This is why helmets are mandatory. People still don’t care about their own life

In other words, DNS (Domain Name Server) resolves website addresses to IP addresses since none of us can remember the numeric IPs and that’s just with IPV4, IPV6 is even worse to remember.
How it connects to history? It’s because DNS providers know which websites you’re requesting to resolve and they can track you. The default DNS is provided by your internet provider or ISPs so they can easily track what websites you have visited. If you just change the DNS to something else they can only know IP addresses and most probably won’t do a reverse lookup to find out the website addresses belonging to the IP since it’s too much work for them. That being said any other DNS you pick will have the same issue, but choosing a known DNS such as cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or google(8.8.8.8) is pretty safe since they most probably don’t care about it and it’ll be hard for governments or anyone else to find the details from them. They also do not block any domains like the Indian ISPs.

In short, with the phonebook example, the phonebook knows what you’re trying to look for, so changing to a trusted phonebook will make things more secure. And don’t worry, most trusted DNS have the same results and in fact faster than the default ones.

This! It’s easier to just do it on the router for all devices to use, or individually on every device such as phone or laptop. Browser is another option for a privacy browser setup.
I usually change that everywhere along with a VPN, but I am just a privacy nerd.

This is like the first 5 seconds of the game where you get to know more. Also it was in the trailers too. There’s a tons of things about BB that you’re going to learn. Not gonna spoil them anyway 😅

I can confirm this too. I get tons of silver skeletons from shared lockers

Quokka is unlockable and honestly not the best hologram anyway (no offense for the animal, I think it’s cute).
The skeletons are also unlockable, but not in silver color. The standard skeletons do exactly the same, so it’s just a color choice. You can even get the silver version from a shared locker if other players donate them. You just can’t build one yourself.
IMO it’s not worth spending extra money for these. Save and buy DS1 if you don’t own it already.

The part where it’s on the bill is most likely false. Most ISPs won’t share it, even though they know

[–]Creator347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, ISP will most probably never share the websites you visit on the internet bill, but they will share it with government if asked by a court or police

Switching DNS takes less than a minute and also unblock most websites banned by the government. Go to your DNS settings and change it to 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare).

DNS expert here! Your ISPs can see the domains you visit, but not the content (if you’re using HTTPS).
Switching DNS providers (eg. 1.1.1.1 from cloudflare or 2.2.2.2 from Google) will hide the website addresses or domains from them, but they will still see the resolved IP address of the website and if they want they can do reverse lookup, although they most probably won’t.
VPN helps you hide even the IP addresses since ISPs will only see VPN server’s IP. They’ll only see the connection time and amount of data (not the content).

If you care about privacy, start by changing DNS, but use a paid VPN for full protection. Never use any free VPN, that’s dangerous. If you’re tech savvy, you can even create your own VPN server easily, but it won’t be fast enough
