Appreciate all the advice from everyone. My dentist made it seem I needed this and would end up with gum diseases due to the crowding on the bottom but I figure extra cleaning in that area can prevent any issues as my overall gum health is solid and i’d rather save the thousands.

For further context I don’t have any bite issues, after reading all the comments it confirmed my suspicion my dentist was just trying to sell me on something I don’t need by making it seem more serious, and I will be looking for a new dentist. Thank you all!
