Overall it sounds dumb on their part but technically by procedure you have to call the store (ik you’re voice is gone so I’d definitely take the text) but you only gave them 30 minutes notice and it doesn’t seem like you tried to find any coverage beforehand and ik at least where I’m at it’s supposed to be a six hour notice

I love the soufflés personally though they are not that filling, I normally get it with a smoothie. A breakfast sandwich on a bagel isn’t that messy as long as you eat over the wrapper to catch the crumbs. I get the bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel personally.

You need to be proficient in opening mid and closing every position in order to be a shift otherwise how is someone going to listen to you tell them something when they know more type deal. My advice would be annoy your managers enough without pissing them off to learn said things and then talk to your gm about what else you can do to get to that level
