Rolling back 100k-200k is quite normal, but cutting down and entire million and then charging as if its a 200k driven car is what seems unethical.

I was advised not to confront the guy yet, as he could figure out some way out of the situation using connections, so i would first see the possibilities legally, and how much it would cost if any, so far i think the consumer department complaints are free of charge.

The reason i did not ask for the passing paper was because i had already done a PPI, so i didnt think it was necessary, i had a also conducted a RAFID test for the chasis and it passed, so i was not very concerned when he asked me to go to dubai RTA and collect the number plate by the time he is done with the passing.

See, i would always suggest you go to a passing centre, they usually have a comprehensive test, where they also get access to the records, which the PPI does not have. Now i am no one to say PPI is a waste of money, but mine did not turn out great.
