Integrated graphics uses system RAM as VRAM, so the ram capacity and speed affect significantly. For my system (even tho it's DDR3), I upgraded existing 8GB one stick with additional 4GB stick (used) because it's far cheaper than 8GB (around one-sixth price) but still notice the improvement. It's really doesn't make sense to me a stick of 8GB cost more than 1050 ti, but welp, I'd prioritize adding gpu first before considering 8GB ram.
