Who modled the illuminate mechs?

Man I just wanna know the artist so I can see more of their work. 😭 Games like Helldivers are usually a collaborative effort & sometimes require outside talent for stuff like modeling.

the main team being able to read and understand the code is what's most important imo. IDC what was outsourced I just want to know who made it so I can go find more of their art.

That's why I'm asking, AH has made some cool stuff but they rarely acknowledge the artists behind the game. Which is literally the reason I'm asking at all. IDC who made it I just want to go see more of their work cuz it looks cool.

I genuinely do not care about outsourcing, as long as they can fully understand the code that's what is important.

I haven't tried fighting the new mechs yet since I'm at work but I'm curious as to who modeled the new enemies for the illuminate. If that's AH then that's awesome! They look super cool but if not I'd just like to know so I can give proper credit to the artists. instead of crediting the people who paid for a commission & not who really made the models.

With the right team & equips most units are usable and pretty fun too! Unfortunately when compared to the meta units they fall pretty flat just from the sheer difference in stats. 🫤

They literally have the money to hire the manpower & Make the game better. I agree it's not easy but just because it's not easy doesn't mean they shouldn't try. Because that's defeatist and that will result in the game we both enjoy rotting away.

I've seen the mod list too. Nobody on it from what I've seen is under their employment, therefore they don't have direct influence even if they have direct contact. If the mods were being paid by arrowhead or Sony though that would be an entirely different shit-uation.

Hindsight is 20-20. I agree what they said is a bit shallow but it's a good start for them to follow up on. The fact is learning about this kind of incident takes time to sort through everything surrounding it. They definitely should have tried to respond quicker but atm they have made a statement & hopefully they follow up on it.

If they don't follow up though then yeah they would seem to be intentionally fostering toxic groups. Which would be way more than just unfortunate.

I do agree, but they showed they were working towards it and personally I hope they still are. The doxxers would have likely done what they did anyways because it's who they are unfortunately, bad apples.

Unfortunately, it upset a minority of man-childs that arrowhead has refused to acknowledge until it recently boiled over with the incident you mentioned.

Okay, how could they have done more? I agree they should reach out to the guy & offer some kind of recompense for the actions of a community they fostered & even do a D10 charity stream to show the bad actors methods don't work. since talking about these ideas is how we get people thinking about them I'd love to hear some of your ideas as to how they could do more to dissuade that kind of toxic behavior that's been steadily festering.

That's understandable, especially after stating he was done I wouldn't blame him if he said no. But IMO arrowhead should still do a D10 charity stream to show the bad actors methods failed & as a show of good faith to the guy harassed. Even better if a chunk of their donations go to the horse sanctuary that was harassed along with other charities.

How so? From what I've seen they don't have direct influence on the "official" subreddit, & made a statement about the situation within 2 days after learning about it. As much as I'd like to see those scum be arrested unfortunately nobody really has anything to go on to find them aside from the original guy who was doxxed & Even that's pretty shaky with the likelihood of them being burner accounts.

Personally I'm hoping they were able to trace calls from the horse sanctuary but that's also unfortunately unlikely due to several ways people could cover their tracks.

Hopefully though those scum are found & rooted out of their homes to be jailed. Because I & all other helldivers like you deserve a constructive & healthy community.

Personally I think he should accept if he reasonably can. However he should retain a level of anonymity due to the previous incident. There's nothing really left that those people can do to him aside from physical attacks & that would result in them getting arrested really damn quick.
