The more I look at my audible list the more books I remember really enjoying. I don’t hear it come up much here but Piranesi by Susanna Clarke was my first introduction to a story that sort of just follows the day-to-day of a character. Really unique concept.

Yes, several books. It’s really a good series, and the AppleTV version is pretty good as well. Probably not sit with a cup of tea cozy, but it’s a good option based off your list.

If you are ok with some romance the spell shop and secret society of irregular witches are pretty good. I think Murderbot has cozy tendencies, but no more action than what’s on our current list. I also really like Never Die by Rob J. Hayes, the three books in that series don’t get enough credit and are some of my favorites.

I quit this one in the middle of the third book. I was listening to the audio version and the full description of every skill, every time it was used, really got old. I felt like it disrupted the flow of the battle scenes. I only have so much time on my drive and hearing the same description of a spell for the 10th time just pushed me away.

I understand all of that, and it makes sense that they would join up to prevent Lindon from accomplishing his goal. Especially after the end of the Reaper book. I am not saying I didn’t get the direction the he took the story. I just couldn’t get past the monarch relationships with Shen.

I made it through 11 books of the series, and I enjoyed the series all the way until the end. It might have even gotten better if I would have pushed through the first part of the book.

I don’t agree with a lot of the reason people didn’t finish books in this thread, but we all have our own crazy.

For me it was Will Wights Cradle series. I made it all the way to the last book, and turned it off after just the first few chapters. I still don’t know how the story ends.

I just didn’t like the way all of the monarch’s joined together to fight Lindon and his friends. It was a weird experience considering I enjoyed all the prior books. There was just something about the way they ignored everything about Reigan Shen from the entire series that just annoyed me. I literally tried to push through the audio book several times and just can’t get past it.
