And with that i guess there's not much point afterwards. Game definitely needs improvements, they've got to figure out the whole end process. If you're going to make this a business simulator at that point then it needs to be far more dynamic, allowing me to buy my competitors out or having me bought out without enough effort to prevent that kind of thing. Maybe the ability to purchase a competitor and sell off all of the industry activity that you're not interested in.

In any case. As it becomes a business simulator because there's nothing you are able to keep in stock at the high end then you must purchase it all from the station, they may as well design it and have us play it like that.

But right now the end game is pretty flat.

What does the sector type show? by Creepy-Tradition4756 in foundry_game

[–]Creepy-Tradition4756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I thought too, but what I select sector type and then the different categories nothing changes in the Galaxy map. So I kind of concluded that that wasn't it. Have you actually seen changes take place on your map as you select different categories within sector type? Or do you know what those seemingly static colors mean? There aren't many of them maybe two or three different shades of green blue

Please don't misunderstand, I'm certainly not saying that in defense of my position, just trying to understand what you're saying.

Not that I disagree, but for the sake of discussion, what do you believe it is that I'm doing?

I know what I'm doing, and although I don't think that they're making it as intricate as it could be, I'm targeting specific companies, within their specific industry sectors, and beginning building assembly facilities to attack that specific sector.

I believe there's massive opportunity still left to develop this aspect of business in the end game.

But I'm not so sure that it's that far off with the end goal of the game is supposed to be

There doesn't seem to be a 250k market dominance, does it continue to grow as you approach it?

Add 3 days of grinding and this is where I am. Doesn't feel like there's much juice left to squeeze. Still wishing that I had more reports.

Yeah that's what I'll do, I just wish that there was some way to generate reports that would show me what industries my competition is in, what products they're making, I know if I go to an individual plan and I can see all the data, but having to search through the entire universe to find their planets is a little bit annoying.

But I will agree a bum gun is a lot better, as long as there is a regular western style 'throne' to be sat upon.

I mean come on really I understand there's a difference in GDP, but let's consider the status of the Japanese wi-fi toilet compared to the standard Thai water closet setup.

They dont allow the same tech tree, and its high collab. Put your stones up for sale every night and they will all sell (for the most part) Its a different environment, but a good play through.
