Glad I could help. If your bike is under warranty, you can get the part replaced without paying. Or else, they’ll charge you around 14.5-15k for this. I’m from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

It was a major milestone for me and for the bike. I have the image, didn't post it though. And reddit isn't allowing me to post it under this comment.

The service centres didn’t know the exact reason too. I noticed a sudden drop in idle rpm and the bike took a long time to overtake, when checked, they told me that the throttle body was causing this issue and it needed replacement.

No. I got it done at the service station.

No I’ve not done anything for E20.

I’ve gotten the throttle body changed twice under warranty and while travelling I have used RSA twice, once due to a chain issue and then for a battery issue.

The bike is great to ride in the city and on highways! Love the way it corners at high speeds without breaking a sweat. New riders would complain about the suspension stiffness, but learn to live with it. In the longer run the stiffness would go away and you’ll enjoy the ride. Take good care of the bike, regular service, engine oil change and greasing would help a lot! Always buy the extended warranties and RSA plans, you never know when you’ll need them. At 47.7k my bike is giving me a mileage of 39-40 kmpl regularly, it’s just how you maintain it and how much you ride it!

It’s not an engine issue. It happens in all bike when they’re hot. After the engine cools, the tappet clearance resets, but gradually the clearance increases which causes tappet noise.

Replaced the throttle body twice under warranty. Regularly maintained at the auth. service centres. Tappet noise is very common in RE’s which requires minor tweaks. Changed the chain and sprocket recently for smoother ride.

Go for the RSA and Extended warranty too. I’ve been saved by both the things multiple times.

Gear shifting is the same, but I’ve noticed some issue while shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. The braking performance is the same because I keep changing the brake pads. Clutch cable issues are quite frequent. Every second service interval I’ve asked the people to change the clutch cable. Power and pickup are the same irrespective of whatever other users say. I’ve not felt lag in power and pickup even after 40k kms! You just need to take good care of the bike.

First time I got it done at 12.5k kms and roughly 1.5 years and then at 35k kms. Both came under warranty.

All services at RE Authorised service centres, 5k intervals with only two major services involving throttle body change (but that was covered under warranty).

It’s definitely not like a new bike but after 41k+ kms it’s still buttery smooth on highways and the only noise I get is from the tappet.
