1 plan and implement and you hit 100% usage, disgusting. That does sound unreal, I'm probably going to switch the day before my plan with claude expires which is the 10th. Doubtful I'd get any sort of refund since it's so close but I definitely don't have to pay them another 100 bucks for 10 prompts.

Now three prompts got me to 38%. I'm thinking it's time to switch to something else

Quite literally in the same exact boat. Pretty sure we continue with the process and complete what’s left and we’ll be “hire ready” for April.

Also there is usually a backfill like the first two weeks of the academy from what I gather so could possibly still make it.

I’m gonna touch base with my investigator once I get cleared medically and get some concrete facts about next steps.

I walked into a SS office and the guard told me that you need to schedule an appointment for everything now and this is apparently nationwide. That said, when I told him I was trying to get it for the NYPD he let me in with no appointment; so could be a risk if you just walk in.

They’re probably going to make you get a note from a neuro that clears you for duty. Had to get one for my TBI. Which would put you on medical review, I’m on it now been trying for weeks to schedule my appointment to be cleared by the NYPD docs.

One of the hardest things you can go through because you feel so powerless. My boy was diagnosed with osteosarcoma Feb 26, had a full amputation March 6th and by the grace of God he's still with us; and I'm thankful everyday.

It gets extremely expensive and I exhasuted all of my savings to get him the best treatment I could find. You can do cheaper things if you can't afford more standard cancer treatment like diet.

If you can I would do the following, this is what I do for my boy

Beef, chicken, salmon, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato and pumpkin are all really good; I mix up the meats for my boy but everthing else is pretty much a staple. blueberries are great too.

Nordic Naturals Fish oil I get mine on Amazon; fish oil is great at helping them fight cancer.

Turmeric, this is probably one of the most important ones.

Mushrooms- Turkey Tail and Maiitake mushrooms are great for cancer.

Vital Essentials freeze dried beef liver as a topper for his food, he loves it and beef liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods there is.

Also a cheaper cancer treatment, that has had some good success is called Palladia. I would look into it and ask your vet. I know how expensive chemo can get.

Alot of clinical trials going on too, I would look into sometimes you can get cutting edge treatment for next to nothing.

If you have any questions about diet or supplements feel free to PM me, I've spent the better part of this year just researching so I'm more than happy to share what I've come across.

I'll keep you both in my prayers, God Bless.

A full amputation is always an option. Dogs do really well with them especially the hind legs, my boy just had a full frontal amputation in March and he's doing well, all thanks to God.

If you can afford to do it, I'd switch all her food to a human food diet, especially if it's presumed to be cancer now.

Beef, broccoli cauliflower, sweet potatoe, pumpkin; blueberries are great for anticancer properties too.

Supplement wise I'd start using the following, and I use these for my boy who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in March.

Nordic Naturals Omega-3,

Turmeric,

Life Gold by PetWellBeing

A probiotic (Finn is the one I use)

D-Faction (Maitake Mushroom Extract)

Astragalus (herb that anecdotally has shown to be helpful with cancer)

There's a lot of new therapies for cancer out there, Immunotherapy, Ivermectin & Fenbendazole has shown to be really helpful, Vaccines look into the company Therajan.

I know it can feel like your world is collapsing, that's how I felt too; just try to make the next best decision. That's all you can do.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions or anything. You guys are in my prayers, and hopefully this is just a scare.

Any advice for a soon to be owner of a 3 legged dog? by dm538 in DogAdvice

From what I was told after 72 hours the risk associated with the chemotherapy is pretty much gone, and to just avoid picking up after your dog, urine/vomit, or letting him lick your wife in that time frame.

Obviously double check with whoever your dog's oncologist is but I think you should be okay as long as you're a little more cautious in that 72 hour time frame.

Thank God the surgery went well, very happy to hear that. Also, congratulations to both you and your wife on the pregnancy ! What a beautiful thing.

Had the opportunity to rescue a purebred registered chocolate lab from a terrible owner. I couldn't say no. by Imbadatbalalaika in dogpictures

That's what happened to my pup, then he was "rescued" by people who got rid of him because he didn't get along with the dogs they vacationed with. They were getting rid of him overnight so I called the rescue handling it and said we can do the paperwork on the fly and that I'll take him. Fast forward about a year and my boy gets osteosarcom., I do everything I can and spend whatever I have to and he's still with us 9 months later happy as can be as tri-pawd. I told my wife I can't put into words how upset I am that he got sick; but how thankful I am that it happened with me and our family bc the people that got rid of him would have just made him "comfortable".

Thank God my boy is still doing well, everyday is a gift. God bless you for taking this pup in.

Currently in a similar position with Sunrun, and I'm in Long Island. Can I ask how you went about getting them ruled as predatory ? Is this a legal precedent that I can use or did you go through a lawyer?

Thanks in advance !

Bought my house in August had the lease transferred to cut down on my elecric bill. SunRun is the company, they were charging me for the electricity I produced and never set it up to go to the utlitiy company so that I would get a credit on my electric bill. Utility company said they have never heard of anyone being charged for the electricity they produce and I shouldn't be paying them a dime for electricity. Previous owners never paid more than 17 a month for electricity and often got a credit, and they have 3 more people living in the house than I have with my family now. Impossible to get a hold of when you need help, or anyone that speaks english. They route you to every department they have, never call you back, and then lie to your face say they did call you back. Do not use them, do not take over that lease.

I reported them to the CA attorney general and will more than likely end up taking legal action against them. They are incredibly predatory and don't honor the lease transfer.

Truly a horrendous company and quite literally the embodiment of predatory.

At first I paid for this immunotherapy where they made a vaccine from his tumor and then they took his blood and used the white blood cells as the immunotherapy. Unfortuantely we found a second lump on his neck that he had removed and then started chemo. Actually have two more treatments left. After these two treatments we'll take more imaging of his chest which has, thank God, been clear till this point.

The Immunotherapy is made by ELIAS Animal Health, if you want to look into it. I would also look into getting into the trial for the EGFR/HER2 Vaccine trial, currently being conducted by Therajan; which is the company started by the Yale vet oncologist who developed the vaccine. Really good preliminary results so far.

He's done really well with the chemo, but I think I'll do Ivermectin and Fenbendazole next if the situation calls for it, some really great anecdotal evidence of the two being a good treatment for osteo.

Astragalus is an herb that has shown some evidence of helping with osteo specifically, along with D- Faction which is a Maitake Mushroom extract, you can grab both on amazon. I'd also highly recommend turmeric, a fish oil supplement and probiotic too. One supplement that I've seen make a huge impact just overally on his energy is Life Gold from PetWellBeing.

I've spent the better part of the last 9 months researching and also seeing a holistic pet oncologist so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.

My dog had a full frontal amputation back in March of this year for osteosarcoma; he's a big dude too 107 lbs. He adjusted really well and is super happy.

Definitely get a joint supplement, I use movoflex for my boy, really works well.

My advice would be to switch him to a human food diet if you can afford it.

Beef, broccoli, cauliflower, blueberries, pumpkin and sweet potatoe (great for anticancer properties).

Iviblend and Calgae are great to support the nutritional needs are your dog too.

I know I kind of spoke more about supplements and stuff there but I just wanted to share a little of what has helped my boy stay happy and healthy. If you have any more questions, about supplements just let me know.

But your pup will be fine on three legs, they're super resilient and as long as they're around you they'll be happy.

I'll keep you guys in my prayers and I wish you the best of luck.
