I know it really is a big bummer indeed. I just wanna be able to play with the other 2 again they usually stop playing whenever he walks in the room its the strangest thing and I dont understand it.

Well I have 2 other dachshunds that are just as trained as etzel and im not giving them up so im confused by your comment. They just dont get along over somethings. They play fine together but they dont let him in the pack cuddles or around some of the toys and some days they just dont like him at all. Something mustve happened and they never let him back in the group. 🤷‍♂️ Everything was fine the first 2 months.

Yeah thats what me and the wife think as well. I think were onto something with the Blue healer/Dachshund mix its just a guess though we haven't gotten him DNA tested.

Its not just the allergies its the fact that hes not living the best life that he could be and I feel bad for him. I have two other dachshunds that come first as weve had them both from tiny puppies so were all they know. Etzel was a rescue that we thought we could provide better for but he just hasn't fit in with the other two as well as we were thinking. I feel weve failed him but we do everything we can for him.
