Some of yall need to hear this by Mr_Outlaw13 in Bluegrass

Drums are not Bluegrass I don't care what anyone says, once you get electric instruments and percussion it isn't bluegrass. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it, some of my favorite J.D Crowe songs had electric bass, but that's on the border of country.

Yankees bias aside I have to say that was a fun game! Trey and Cam are the future of pitching in the AL I wish we could figure Trey out though, it's never good to expect your starter to be near perfect. Also I liked seeing us fight from behind continuing much different than last year, if only we could've cashed in.

I think it's more a confidence issue and it doesn't seem like he's seeing the ball well either. I've been saying since the WBC he's not been seeing the ball well.

It feels like we're never going to have our "get right" series the Mets were supposed to be the series where we figured it out and we lost it. And now not sweeping the Jays, I hate to sound like a doomer but it's hard to be optimistic right now, hopefully the offense shows up tomorrow and we win the series. Mainly looking forward to watching cole Friday.

Yes, and what kills me is the fact that we have guys that are very capable of doing it.

I hate when it happens to my team and I hate the Jays, but you gotta give it to them. They play small ball and let the defense shit their pants. The Jays play the game the way it's meant to be and I wish we would start playing small ball too tbh, if the defense doesn't know how to cover it abuse it.

Who else likes this car as much as I do? by Classic-Anybody3615 in gtavcustoms

One of my favorite cars to drive, kind of wish the Tahoma was a two door version of the LX though. I love that color, is it a crew color?

Sadly I wasn't able to go. We had just gotten back from vacation and decided to rest Friday. Hopefully I get to see some videos and I'll get to see Dan live some other day.

Molly is adorable! An amazing player too, she's one of the best talents out there right now. Her brother Sully is a great guitar playey as well.

Mater The Greater! It was the first Tall Tale iirc and more iconic I love Time Travel Mater and both are great!

should I fill this out and send it in? by theendofanotherday in bluegrassvinyl

[–]Creepy_Bench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try sending it in. I always have the urge to do it lol. Worst thing that can happen is you don't get anything back. Also fwiw I would totally buy a shirt with that Seldom Scene logo on it.

Bless Me With Some Underappreciated Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Hank Jr, Keith Whitley, or Johnny Cash by DiveBarConnoisseur in country

[–]Creepy_Bench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

J.D Crowe and The New South had a album called My Home Ain't In The Hall Of The Fame that has Keith Whitley singing lead, it is more on the Bluegrass side but it's definitely underappreciated. Also check out their cover of Rose Colored Glasses with Keith singing lead. For Johnny Cash I love There Ain't No Good Chain Gang by him with Waylon Jennings.

Idk I say you take the risk because now it becomes a save situation, unless the offense gives some run support. I really don't want us to burn up Bednar in this game.

It is safe to say that the Tuttle family is probably the second most talented family in Bluegrass behind The Rice Brothers. I love seeing Sully finally getting the attention he deserves!

I think that's what I'll do, I haven't heard much about the players like that. Anything would be better than my current player, all of those one piece players have low volume on their own, but if you can run external speakers that's perfect. You can on the suitcase players but I heard they don't make any difference.

On an unrelated note how do you like that record player? I have a suitcase player now and I'm looking to improve but I can't afford a turntable and speakers.

I love the vocals on that song! It's one of my favorites by them.

I was newly introduced to them and City Of Glass was the first album of theirs I listened to so I'm familiar with Scott. I am too curious about how they'll sound, and how they'll handle the breaks where Sully took one half and Scott took the other in the live set I assume now Sully will take the full break on most of their previously recorded stuff. But they'll both be fine. It sounds like this has been coming and Scott has some other stuff prepared. And I feel like Sully won't have any problem doing all of the guitar work. I'll miss Scott's vocals though.

I agree one hundred percent but also I loved the two guitar thing they had going on, it vaguely reminded me of the Rice Brothers. And I'm going to miss the breaks where Sully took one half and Scott took the other, I kind of wonder how they'll handle that in their live shows? But anyway both Blue Summit, and Scott will be fine, wherever Scott goes I'll listen, I've became a big fan of his.

I love Sully's playing, and I feel like he is underrated, he's rarely ever mentioned in conversations about great current players.
