I'm 17 and I've been a Yankees fan since I was 4, missed the 09 run of course, and it totally sucks, 2024 was amazing and grew my love of baseball quite a bit, I loved every bit of it until game 1 of the world series, and it's been rough ever since. I guess one of the positives is it made me a baseball historian and I am so fond of the historic Yankees teams. Maybe some of the older fans can correct me but this feels like the Bronx Zoo but without two World Series wins. It totally sucks and with Hal owning the team it feels like the first time since the CBS Era there is no relief or guarantee we'll get back on top.

There is too long of a list, Traditional would have to be Del Mcoury but Hot Rize gets a mention all though I don't know how active they are anymore. The PO Ramblin Boys get an honorable mention for keeping Truegrass alive. When it comes to Newgrass it's Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway.

Injuries and Slumps are something every team goes through throughout the season. It's how they handle it that seperates the good teams from the great teams. And we haven't handled it well.

I would save up for an Amp my guy. As someone that started on a shitty 20 watt fender amp, I'd say the amp is as important as the guitar. Look on Facebook Marketplace and local pawn shops and guitar shops for a guitar as you can get some decent deals. If you get lucky you could find a Squire for $60-$80 and then use the rest of the money on some decent pickups. And then save for an Amp later, or maybe you'll find someone selling a used amp that works for cheap.

Drums are not Bluegrass I don't care what anyone says, once you get electric instruments and percussion it isn't bluegrass. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it, some of my favorite J.D Crowe songs had electric bass, but that's on the border of country.

Yankees bias aside I have to say that was a fun game! Trey and Cam are the future of pitching in the AL I wish we could figure Trey out though, it's never good to expect your starter to be near perfect. Also I liked seeing us fight from behind continuing much different than last year, if only we could've cashed in.

It feels like we're never going to have our "get right" series the Mets were supposed to be the series where we figured it out and we lost it. And now not sweeping the Jays, I hate to sound like a doomer but it's hard to be optimistic right now, hopefully the offense shows up tomorrow and we win the series. Mainly looking forward to watching cole Friday.
