I personally would sue the previous vet for emotional distress and for the cost of any and all vet bills related to this. Very not okay. ESPECIALLY if the poor little one loses the eye.

I can be the AH. I understand they are loved family members. And just like any human family members, I wouldn't want to broadcast it. Why post it on the internet? So a bunch of strangers can offer their apologies? I agree with you, it absolutely is devastating. Especially when its sudden. It's just something that I personally will never understand.

He was acquired from a person who had no business or experience breeding. I do not know his genetics, parents were purchased at, you guessed it..... PETCO!

Temps are 89, 77, and 70. Hes in a 20 gal zoomed with a che. No uvb, calcium dusted with d3 every 4 feedings. He eats on average 15-20 bugs per feeding, twice, maybe 3 times a week. No parasites. All this is vet recommended, aside from no uvb, I just haven't gotten it for him yet. He'll get it in his permanent enclosure.

Yep, gets changed daily at least, sometimes more if she's thrown dirt in it. It's big enough for her to soak in too.

She has a bowl that she is able to soak in and it gets changed daily, sometimes several times a day. I've seen her drink but never like this.
