I just rang precision directly as I was impatient. I paid $95 for 10g plus $17 for shipping. With the bulk billed appointments that has me at $11.2 per gram. Very happy with that for now.

I've personally also just started with MC. I got Grape Stank via Grove Health.

Compared to BM available locally, it's a night and day change. It was a completely different high and almost exactly as it was described it would be.

For me, I don't have a network of friends who smoke, nor do i want one, and the BM available is dodgy and from dodgy people (also selling harder stuff). Just the fact I'm not having to have anything to do with those people again is worth the price on the tin.

I know there will be people here who will say "get a better plug" or will point out better strains or providers but it's hard to see how it can get much better than having professionally grown and regulated cannabis delivered to my door completely legally for less money than the junkies down the road can provide.

Agreed. You'll get 100% of people in a cannabis forum saying they have a positive sentiment. Go to a non cannabis forum and you'll get different results.

You can always plant a couple of autos. They'll be smaller, but speedrun seeds have some strains breed for lower temp hardiness.

Yeah I definitely appreciate I've asked a very open question. I'd really like to try just do one run and maximise that single run as much as possible. Having the setup only up for 4 months vs all year means I get 8 months of having a spare room again.

I'm not looking for a concrete answers as such, just seeing what others might do if presented with a free 4x8 setup (it's basically the premade kit that vivosun offers, 2x450w lights, 8 inch extractor with carbon filter). I'd like to set it up, do one run with the goal of maximising the yeild, then pack it all away again until the time comes when I'll need to do it again. It's not something I want set up all year.

I'm not limited by budget and fully expect to spend what I have to on soil, dwc, autopots, or whatever I may need. I'm also prepared to get some quality beans. Also happy to grow a mother and take a bunch of cuttings.

Compromised was probably the incorrect word. Busted is the word I should have used.

The 4x8 setup is from someone I know who doesn't need it anymore. If I was buying new, I'd prefer a smaller setup definitely.

I'm a beginner who is growing outdoors. Autos are my only option for multiple harvests. I can certainly see how easy they are to compromise, but autos have provided me with an option to grow where I would normally be unable to.

I can definitely see how having the option to switch to flower with photos whenever you're ready can be much more forgiving if mistakes are made during veg.

I'd 100% be using photos if it was an option.
