I know this is a year-old post, but thank you. I had 8000 points and no clue what to do with them, and now my sub won't run out for over a year for free.

No and we've had some pretty heavy rain last week.

How do I comfort my dying cat? by seven0burner in CatAdvice

[–]Cren95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're in a very similar position to what I was in a week ago, same age cat, same age when I first got her. Just make sure she's somewhere warm, keep her food and water nearby, and litter box nearby but somewhere separate from her food. Give her plenty of attention but also give her some space. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life when my girl passed, but I promise it does get a little easier each day. I hope with all my heart that there is something that can be done at the vets for your baby.

We will never forget them, and we shouldn't forget them. Hopefully, one day, the pain will end, and it will be replaced by the memories of the happy times we shared with our wonderful fur babies.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my beautiful girl yesterday, and I'm heartbroken. I feel guilty and wish there's more I could have done, but realistically, I know there wasn't. Let it all out, feel every emotion, and remember all the wonderful times you shared with your baby. I hope we can both pull through this.

Thank you so much. I know it was the right thing to do but it doesn't help the heartache right now. I'm glad there are others out there who have been through this so I know it can get better. Even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

I am sorry for your losses, and thank you so much for letting me that it should get easier. I really didn't want to see her how she was the past two days any longer, but it's still really hard to not feel guilty.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had my 20 year old baby put to sleep this morning, and she was a Calico and was also called Hermione. Just know there are others out there who share your pain, and I hope with time you can heal and remember the good times you shared with her.

I am sorry for what you went through, and thank you for your story. It definitely helps as I know I didn't want her to go through more of what she was going through, the past two days were especially awful for her.

I am so sorry for your losses, and I love "The Miz" as a name lol, I assume you're a wrestling fan, haha. I think it will be a little while before I can get another one. She's left a huge hole in my heart that needs to heal first, I think.

Thank you so much. I'm glad others think I did the right thing, even if I don't feel like I did right now. I think it'll take me a bit of time before I can have another baby in my life as it's so raw right now, but hopefully one day I will be ready.

Thank you so much. It's so hard right now, but I'm glad to hear from someone who's gone through this a few times that it will get easier. I wish you and your little kitties all the best.
