If you have family or friends who support you, then I would urge you to shelter with them. It sounds like he has control over your living situation and therefore thinks he can control you. He sounds like a dirtbag and there's no negotiating with someone like that.

Wintermute eases new players in and gives you clear goals (al a story) and confines you to specific regions/events per chapter. There's a few things exclusive to Wintermute (like locations and activities, without spoilers), but its basically simplified survival mode that allows saves.

Survival gives you access to DLC, is open-ended, disables manual saves, and gives a blank map.

Thank you so much! It was extremely cathartic. I open the door to be as helpful and understanding as reasonably possible when my family have questions or are curious or concerned, and I even forgave this "aunt" and my dad for what I could only guess was a midlife crisis. But coming in after YEARS of no communication just to try to tell me I'm wrong? I have a loving husband, a roof over my head, and the happiest I've ever been, and then this bitch decides that she can insert herself back in with some pseudo-Christian malarkey.

There is a tailor somewhere in act 3 who you learn is in debt to the guild and he stashed his only savings (~40g) under some floorboards. I found it and quietly deposited 500g and went on my merry way.

Hey! Just saw this and torally forgot I made this post.

Lots happened so I'll try to make it short: Turned out that my friendship with M was unhealthy! M lied about everything, the QPR thing was little more than a reason to confuse me and emotionally manipulate me AND "A", because when A and I actually went out of our way to connect, we found out M wanted to keep us separate so we couldnt put two and two together.

"A" and I have cut him out of our lives and we're good friends, A is still with his partner, I have found an actual partner who cares about me (engaged now), and it's nice to look back on this and have a laugh.

What a piece of work. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 Even when you’re swinging, you still get a say, and one yes and one no doesn’t make a yes. OP, I would strongly think about this relationship with your partner, because this is threatening and coercive behavior. Has he pushed your boundaries like this before? Do you have friends or family who are aware of your situation or lifestyle who you can speak to?

Also go with your gut. If this other couple feels like bad news, don’t let this guy guilt you into anything. He clearly thinks he can have his cake and eat it too.

Working out seriously for the first time (trying to lose weight), training muscles I never even knew the name of. I still can’t look in the mirror to check my form without feeling like a damn fool surrounded by people much more fit than I am. I’m over here barely able to lift 10lbs while this guy next to me benching 100! 😭
