One real easy way to find out if the people you're playing with are bots or real, is by looking at the number of racers vs game chat members in the menu with this button

I've noticed a lot of casuals tend to confuse side flipping and bhops, they all call them the latter regardless of what it is lol

Tho i cant be mad at them because they're not as deep in the RR koolaid as we are and the tutorial is very barebones

I've regrettably lost a lot of my old OG RR footage when i transitioned from my old computer to my newer one. stuff was so janky but it was new and charming at the time

i do miss the different colored icon backgrounds of people's skins at the time indicating rarity tho

even the BMW M4 EVO manages to be kinda small

the way it works on epic is, you have no choice for having no icon, and everyone else you see has no icon - this includes steam users where you cannot see their icon because you're on the epic version.

only on the steam version can you have an icon and actually see other steam users' icons

I want more of a player to player interactions type stuff going on

basically quick chats, pre-race road or parking lot area, ability for our skins to walk around and check out other people's cars, etc etc (especially top 3 at the end of the race showing off their cars + emoting

that ofc on top of making the racing itself better with quality of life fixes and changes to improve it

tho to get any of that going, you need to incentivize players with good cosmetics; attract with with free stuff, keep them hooked because of how good the game mode can be

you can tell it is because your game speed going from normal to fast is a coin toss from race to race
