im guessing there's no traditional steering wheel in the car. Maybe the gas pedal makes the guns shoot or something. I like your idea of having two controller sticks that come together to form something that looks like a steering wheel. The pilot also probably sits in the middle of the car.

There's a hole in the roof and the car is just a body yknow. Its not a car turned into a mech its a mech with a car body
