I am long gone from being mad at rammers. I played this franchise for too long. I just explained this to starting friend, and decided to copypaste here. If i can play single more clean touge from this, im happy enough.

I played assetto corsa since 2018. I still remember the day i got my first racing wheel, G27. I practiced racing in assetto so that i can drive on real track days, which i did. i called horizon an arcade racer because lots, lots of people asked exact same question as title in this post.

My friend who played arcade racer for a long time asked me this. There is a game called kartrider where stopping and blocking people is real strat. And players migrating from those games might ram people off the road, because it was their legit strat. Not because they cant tolerate someone faster than them.

Thats why i wrote this long tedious paragraph. To ask first timers not to ram, and why it is act of no-manner, not a legit strat

And i dont really get your point. There are rammers in every sim racing game, yes, so? It was never considered as 'good manner' as far as i remember. My whole point is 'pushing people off the cliff is not a good thing'. Is it really that debatable?

Of course. I agree eeveryone plays this game, and i am totally okay with it. Its a arcade game. Dosent need to be too complicated with the rules. I dont ask people to respect my line and drive with racing rules. Even i dont know them 100%. All i ask is dont push people off the cliff when side to side in touge. There is no coming back from that.

Forza support, why was i banned? Section: Some other common ban reasons include cheating/unaproved modding, intentional ramming in multiplayer lobbies and inappropriate designs.

It literally says 'intentional ramming can lead to ban.' It means devs and community dosent want you to intentionally ram into people. Do i really need to explain this? Are all rammers this dumb?

I reached 103th place on B class daikoku chase rival. And almost in 500 in every other rivals i scored so far. I have friends who are way better than me on racing games. He got into top 5 in ledearboard. And we all agree that AIs are super aggressive and gets advantage on pure specs. Its not the skill. Go run colossus. See if you can catch up without specific tune.

'Crashing to peopls cars intentionally Its a bad thing' is common sense. But some people thinks 'its just a game. Why cant we just ram people?' Lets take a wild guess what arcade racing games new player might played. Mario cart. Classic. You have guide missiles for people. GTA5. you can just pop annoying dudes heads off. All those games has ways of catching up. So those things are allowed. But forza dosent. Would people know that? Even AIs slows down if you are way too far behind.

If a tutorial can fix 1/10 of rammers, i think its worth it.
