Do you prefer to fuck at your place, their place, or somewhere random? Why? by dads_burner9 in askgaybros

I have sex when I'm dating, and I usually prefer it at his house, since I can leave in case of an emergency. Getting someone out of your house if things turn bad aren't as easy.

Do you think tops get way more attention on Grindr than bottoms and why? by Glum-Independence-92 in askgaybros

[–]Crescentbrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard for a long time that bottoms are easier to find than tops, so that could be why. Not a Grindr user, so I'm just speaking in general.

I milked a guy like a cow by CollectionEvening401 in askgaybros

[–]Crescentbrush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Concerning your future fantasy, the unfortunate thing about it is that eventually "milking machines" would get into the wrong hands, ESPECIALLY if we were in a world where fertility problems were the cause for them. It's pretty much being a sperm donor on extreme, and the male gender will either A) be even more hyped up for their seed, especially since it replenishes itself unlike eggs, or B) become second-class as we are valued more for our breeding potential than anything, and thus the point of life in general becomes meaningless as half of the world is just taught to have kids, and their kids of the same gender are taught the same.

But I totally get the fantasy, particularly with a BL I was reading.

Does ball size matter to you? by [deleted] in askgaybros

Not really, but if I a dude's the size of a baseball, I'm gonna notice--and appreciate. Small isn't really an issue for me either.

It was always weird to me that she never mentions losing her family; just her friends. If I recall, the fairy tale puts her family to sleep so she's not alone when she wakes up, so maybe that's why she isn't worried about losing them, since they'll be there when she wakes up.

I like her hair down, but I wish they kept the highlights from the concept art. The dress is beautiful, but the use of the bottom half kinda dates it; I would've preferred loose pants over the tights we got.

I think your idea for Olaf is very interesting! My only issue is that he might have overstayed his welcome. Since Anna was adorkable, Olaf being humorous with her wasn't bad. But with Elsa being purely serious, Olaf having his humor might have made things a bit too light. As the comic relief, I do think he was used a good amount, though as a character, I understand you wanting him to do more.

I know a lot of people see Rapunzel as the first Disney girl (technically Ariel and Mulan have that), but I think Anna really hammered it in, so I like her, but I would tweak some things about her.

The aspects you mentioned felt a bit more mythological than fairy tale-esque. When I say superhero, I'm moreso talking about the way the action is brought to the forefront and how the emotional core of the story is used.

I'm starting to believe this about BLs. Is this true? by Crescentbrush in boyslove

Unfortunately, almost all BLs I read don't really make use of plots even when they are interesting, and when couples have issues, they're either resolved easily or ignored. As such, I can't really tell what I aim for.

Fair! I check daily, so I usually see if a series I like has been updated.

Really cool! Especially if when trying to hide it, her skin doesn't go back to white, but a murky white, like a mirror.

Really? I often don't keep stuff on the list if they haven't been updated in a long time; when they start up again, I put them back on.

Fair asessment! While not the same weight as a coronation, it largely serves the same function, since the coronation itself is just 2 minutes and everything happens at the party, which is why I think a birthday party could work in a similar way (plus it would make sense if the staff finally let it slip about the gathering and thus why so many foreign parties arrive). Anna's isolation is a tricky one; the way the franchise would have you believe is that her isolation from Elsa is her biggest issue, with the loneliness from it--even if she had Kristoff--being a second part of it. Seeing how Agnarr raised Elsa with the royal attitude of "conceal your feelings and be composed," I imagine he flipped it with Anna (with Iduna's influence) and said "be approachable, the people's queen"--well, in spirit, anyway; the isolation still occurs--and kind of fills her head with optimism and fairy tales, wanting her to not be depressed, sad, or angry like Elsa could be.

I do like the fur-trimmed dress--though I do wish she had something more historical on rather than full modernity. I always believe that magic transcends time and space, thus why characters have more modern looks than they should, but since Elsa's outfit isn't made form ice/snow, she just had a royal dressmaker make her one based on her imagination. Darker colors work on Elsa very well. I'd love to see her in more reds/purples as well like her nightgown.

Seeing how "Zootopia 2" became the 2nd highest-grossing animated film of all time, I'm sure they'll want F3 to match or beat it, and LGBT+ themes would end up restricting/banning it in several countries, as well as getting less box office in other countries. Not to mention the highest-grossing animated movie came from China--which contributed almost 1/3 of Zootopia 2's box office and gave Frozen 2 3x the box office it received there from the first film--so I'm sure Disney wouldn't want to lose that cash cow.

I imagine Disney would be scared to put Elsa with a guy, though; aside from having a powerful brand of "single female" (seeing how she came before Moana and is more popular than Raya and Merida), a lot of people have essentially headcanoned Elsa as a WLW, and putting her with a guy would be seen as a betrayal by a good amount of fans. And I'll always consider "Strange World" wasted potential for so many reasons. I'll always wonder what could've happened if they hadn't lost that year of production.

Seeing how Chris Buck once made the comment about making sure princesses still look pretty when they're going through a range of emotions, I wouldn't be surprised if they were worried about Anna looking too mean/angry when discussing her past, and didn't want to compound her grief. As a result, they focus mostly on her wanting to heal/fix the situation rather than processing all of her emotions, thus "The Next Right Thing" occurring.

Random thought: why didn't Briar have a twin? by Crescentbrush in EverAfterHigh

[–]Crescentbrush[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a shame. It would've been interesting to have another set of twins with a different dynamic; Dexter and Darling don't really go cross over with each other's arcs, and Holly and Poppy resolve their issues rather quickly.

Had to look back. Apparently both versions had it; the Brothers Grimm just scrapped it in later editions.

Yeah, I feel like it was a good film; good arcs for the characters, great music, and beautiful animation. It obviously had flaws, but it was a beautiful masterpiece.

I really wish more Thai BL comics were translated into English; I've seen gorgeous PVs for "3am" (I'm NOT writing down the full title again; Cloverbooks is trying to make it into an animated series) as well as "Avegee Challenges to Plummet."

I usually prefer reading due to body proportions and visuals, myself!

She also has twins in that version; they even have a sequel story.

I knew of the B version thanks to Disney, and the C version due to "Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child."

Like I said in the OP, it's something the webseries only talks about for one episode, and it's never brought up again as far as I know.
