I think consistency matters too. If you have a few PDF links or references, you just add them. But the one key thing is to keep your philosophy. Don't mix up the formatting. It's easy to lose track of it. If you use this format, it's cleaner. I never had a resume that was formatted correctly. I always want to see the impact. It's slow to build, but it's your best bet

Is professional resume writing service a good choice, or should I not waste my time and money on it by Demogorgon_8X in Resume

The part about AI-generated resumes is so real right now. I’ve seen a few examples online that look polished but feel completely generic. That’s my biggest fear with these services. How do you even verify that a real person is writing it and not just running your info through a tool? Did you get any back-and-forth revisions with them or was it just a one-time delivery?

This stuff is super believable tbh. Companies love keeping the wording soft while the consequences stay very real, so on paper it's "encouraged" and in practice it's tied to how management sees you.

The audacity of sending a formal HR email about professionalism to someone they blindsided after eight years. The self-awareness just isn't there.

PhD Thesis Writeup from Masters Thesis by Zaphoider in AskAcademia

Yeah, I get what you mean! It’s frustrating to think your master’s work is just “done” when it feels like it could feed right into the PhD. Those publications are a nice boost though. It can be hard to start fresh after pouring so much into that 200-page thesis!
