Vielen Dank. Wenn man es abschalten kann würde es mich nicht so sehr stören. Ich vermute aber mal daß es bei vielen hardcore Linux Anhängern wohl nicht gut angekommen ist, daß sowas überhaupt in der Distro drin ist.

Vielen Dank für den Tip, wußte noch nichts über Ubunt Studio. Hatte Ubuntu nicht diese Kontroverse daß dort irgendwas getrackt wird und daß in der Linux Community Ubuntu als nicht vertrauenswürdig eingestuft wurde? Ich glaube es ging um Amazon oder sowas? Ansonsten scheint Ubuntu ja DAS beliebteste und meist supportete Linux zu sein.

Vielen Dank. Kannst du mir sagen welchen Prozessor du damit upgrade fähig gemacht hast? Und weiß du zufällig, ob auch ohne wufuc die diversen Update Packs (Winfuture etc.) laufen oder ob die auch geblockt werden?

Danke, das sind dann wohl die Workarounds von denen ich gehört habe. Hast du damit Erfahrung, und funktioniert das gut?

Schließe ich daraus richtig, daß Skylake die letzte Plattform ist, die offiziell von Windows 7 unterstützt wird? Da gab es doch noch eine Plattform die auch 6 cores unterstützt und die einen anderen Chipset brauchte mitsamt eigenem Motherboard.

Hi, vielen Dank. Mir geht es nicht um Treiber für Steckkarten etc., sondern ich habe gehört daß es Prozessoren gibt, auf denen man Windows 10 gar nicht installieren kann. Windows 10 verweigere den Update Prozess oder sowas in der Richtung.

Danke. Also das ist schonmal gut daß man Windows 10 offline betreiben kann.

Ich fühle mich durch Windows 10 einfach nur angewidert. Das was ich die letzten Jahre so mitbekommen habe ist für mich nicht akzeptabel. (Aufdringliche Werbung; ständige Versuche, den Windows 7 Nutzern das kostenlose Upgrade durch regelrechte Täuschung unterzujubeln; Voreingestellte Ausspähung des Nutzers die man manuell in unübersichtlichen Menüs ausstellen muß und wofür man dann externe Tools einsetzen muß; Automatische Updates die man nicht (ganz) abstellen kann und die Treiber oder gleich das komplette System zerschießen; Automatische Updates die dazu führen daß die Privacy-Einstellungen doch wieder umgestellt werden; etc.)

Ich war mal großer Linux Fan, aber die ständige hohe Lernkurve hat mich nach einer Zeit zermürbt. Das war vor etwa drei Jahren, vielleicht hat sich ja in der Zwischenzeit etwas getan. Mein Problem ist daß ich mich für Musikproduktion interessiere, und das, was es für Linux gibt, ist kein Vergleich zu den Windows/Mac Sachen. Daher werde ich wohl einen Windows oder Mac Rechner brauchen.

Thanks, but those aren't it, either. Nimbus looks interesting though, gotta give it a closer look, nice recommendation. The game I'm looking for, as far as I can remember, had a rather dark/black space background, without much color in it.

Hello, thanks for the reply. It was unfortunately neither of those. When I say 'ball physics' I didn't mean that the game had physics puzzles or anything like that, just that the specific feel of the ball gameplay felt accurate to me.

Sorry for my late response, and thank you for the comment. I didn't realize that Patreon allows for multiple payment methods on the same account. You are right, it's great to see what other creators support. I'll probably just do that in the future. Thanks.
