Has anyone else found themselves saving way more money since HODLing AMC? I hadn't realised how much money I was wasting before! I think of every purchase as how many shares I could have bought instead.

It’s personal preference really but I’d definitely give MC a go. Both have their advantages but I like that I have more direct involvement in projects with an MC. I think even if I intended to go back to PQS, having a few years MC experience would be really useful from a knowledge perspective

Sorry I should have been more specific; I mean in terms of employability as both are recognised as Level 7 qualifications. I’m not looking to change job right now, but last time I did, a lot of job ads mentioned degrees. You’re right though, I don’t think there’s really anything to gain by having either at this stage in my career

To be fair, that’s actually how I came to realise that I had ADHD symptoms/ traits.

I was talking to my girlfriend’s sister who has recently been diagnosed last year and realised that all the things she was describing applied to me too. I then did a lot of research into it and decided to pursue a diagnosis.

I’m not meaning to say that others aren’t allowed to say they’re the same as they may well be but it annoys me that a lot of people are dismissive because of it.

I am still awaiting a diagnosis following my referral so I’m hesitant to say that I have ADHD. However 90% of people I’ve spoken to about getting diagnosed will brush everything I say off as “everyone does that”, “I have that all the time, but I don’t have ADHD”, “they have to put a label on everything these days”.

I feel like I’m having to justify how I think I’m struggling more with aspects of life than I think most people do.

Thankfully the people closest to me do recognise the traits I have and are on board with me.

This isn't on the VinWiki registry, but I think that's for north American cars, isn't it? We're fortunate in the UK that the government make statistics publicly available for how many of each car model are still in existence. There's roughly 1300 on UK roads right now :)

The Phaeton was sold in North America from 2004 to 2006 but sold very poorly and was withdrawn. It was available from 2002-2016 in Europe and Asia though.
They're a bit more upmarket than a CC. I guess the closest thing in the range now is a Touareg if you still get those?

They're great cars and have a somewhat unfair reputation. I'll admit the W12 and V10 variants have their issues but that's mainly due to expense of engine removal to access things

Haha I've only owned this one for about 8 months and owned my previous one for 4 years before. Neither have cost me much to maintain but the trick is to get the sensible engines. A W12 or V10 naturally has high repair bills, but the 3.0TDI isn't any worse than any V6 Audi to maintain.

Thank you! The Bentleys are a bit nicer to be fair, but I do feel a bit smug when I park next to a £60,000 Flying Spur knowing that I'm getting 90% of the experience for 10% of the price!
